The staff are helpful and nice, the store has a great feel to it, nice calm music, great books to browse. It's not your usual occult store, it has much more than one would expect...

The Decour May Scare You! 5/10/2006

A few doors down from Toys in Babeland on Capitol Hill is an occult shop with a bit of a hard edge to it. It's for occultists and aspiring occultists with interests that might not be tolerated in some conservative communities. It's obvious that many of the people who frequent this place, especially the owner, know quite a bit about these practices, and also a decent place to network, if that is your path. more

Metaphysical supplies 12/29/2005

This is a little shop on Pike that specializes in occult supplies. The staff are pretty knowledgable and helpful. There are frequenly Tarot readers or Astrologers who do readings in the store. This store also acts as a meeting hall for groups and classes in Seattle and has a large amount of advertising placed in the stores for varies readers and practitioners. This store also stocks free magazines for those interested in the occult along with one of the largest seletions of Tarot Cards in the area. The best part of the store is the Owner who does searches for requested books and will order books for you from the US and also from Europe. Stop by and say hi they are all pretty nice and friendly people more

Everything pagan and wiccan 8/18/2005

Edge of the Circle Books is located on E Pike about a block east of Rt 5. This bookstore specializes in book and gift items relating to paganism, wicca, and the occult. If you are looking for a place to pick up some tarot cards (which their selection is vast) or some occult influenced jewelery or challises this is your place. They also have some ritual candles. The people that work there are often performing some kind of wiccan ritual which is quite interesting although I have no idea what they are doing. If you are interested in wicca or the occult this store will really get your juices flowing. more
