Eden's Salon & Spa

I have been buying my Aveda products at Eden Salon for a few years. When my regular stylist went on Maternity Leave, I decided to try the Eden Salon for a highlight and cut. What a mistake! I was very unhappy with my results not to mention that I was quoted 85 to 90 dollars for the service and ended up paying 186.00 including tip. I did try to work with one of the shop managers, Mary, to have my hair corrected but the management and the stylist were more interested in defending themselves than delivering on my original request for service. I am offended and will never return. My money was rudely refunded, still, I am happy to get my money back. As for my hair.....I am having to pay for color correction at another salon next week and will have to wait months for the bad haircut to grow out. more

I have gone to this salon for years. I love the Aveda products that they use in a very relaxing atmosphere. I always get the greatest compliments on my hair and everyone always wants to know where I get it done. I recently moved so I coordinate being in town so that I can get my hair done! Yes, it is really worth the drive!!! Kelly and the rest of the staff are the best! I won't go anywhere else!!!! Pros: Great cuts and color more

I chose this salon for my twice-yearly indulgent haircut. When I arrived, I was asked to sit in a waiting room that was far away from the receptionists' area. As a result, she "forgot" to tell my stylist that I was there until I went back to the desk area half an hour after my appointment was supposed to start. The stylist did an excellent job (her name is Nicole), and knew exactly what I wanted. The highlights weren't as noticeable as I'd hoped, especially for the price. While their price list says that highlights are $38+, that means that the stylist can set their own prices. My highlights ended up being nearly $60, and the cut and style was $33, bringing the grand total plus tip to over $90. Not a price I want to pay very often! Still, if you're willing to pay, you'll get a good cut with Aveda products. PROS: Close to my home, an Aveda salon, good stylist CONS: High prices, not clearly explained, poor receptionist service more
