Garden of Eden!! 9/6/2011

I love this spa!! The staff is so nice and the spa is even better. You walk into an indoor garden and instantly get soothed by the scents and the atmosphere. The staff is so relaxed but in the best way possible. The consult with you to see what you need and then proceed to satisfy in the most professional way possible. The individual rooms are super cool and the deals are crazy. I did the ""new you"" package consisting of a body wrap, massage and facial. Three hours at the spa made me as brain dead as possible but I couldn't ask for anything more. This package cost only $149!! And if I just wanted a massage and a facial, it's only $99! You can't beat it. Best way to spend a lazy Sunday. more

Great Gift 8/18/2011

I gave my girlfriend a spa package and she loved it. I am so happy that this turned out to be a gift that she really liked. I am planning on going in myself for a massage after I climb my first 14er at the end of August. more

Amanzing! 3/7/2011

Eden was the garden of eden as soon as we walked in (mom and I), it even smelled like a the perfect place to relax! We were getting massages on a Saturday morning. We were a little worried at first there isnt a front desk person. but soon after 3 girls came out of there rooms eager to help!!! Our 60 min massages were a gift from a friend with the Weekly Plus Gift Certifactes.. We paid $29.00 @ the end of our massages AND I FELT THAT WASNT HARDLY ENOUGH!!! our massages were so Relaxing, my therapist Christy listened to all my likes and dislikes and masterd my massage! My mom's massage was also rewarding!!!! The music and rooms are a perfect garden in the middle of Denver.. We will be returning very very soon!! more

Dont go there! Looks are 1/17/2011

Where to begin? Other then this was a COMPLETE disappointment all the way around! I have never had such a poor experience at a 'day spa' before! I purchased 2 gift certificates from Denvers Groupon in December, they were $50.00 values for $20.00 each. I booked an appointment for myself this past Sunday. When the girl booked my appointment over the phone I told her I had a gift cert. I showed up 10 min before and came all the way from SW Littleton. Really in need of a relaxing theraputic massage, I just got back from a 3 week long rd trip and was strapped financially and beat up from all the driving... To my dismay.. the gal who was going to give me the massage was also the receptionist(?) just got out of a treatment, as no one was at the desk to great me when I came in. Then when she gave me the paperwork to complete, didnt seem to have even checked the reservation with my info, as she acted like she just started there (very ill equiped) and that I was there for the 1st time and yes was going to use a certificate, was ganna take me to the treatment room when I asked so how much is it (after overhearing something like $79 for 1 hr (!) No offense to the receptionist/massage therapist girl but didnt look worth that..she was smaller then me and I am 110 lbs! So even with the certificate it would have been $29.00 out of pocket, take in account the $20.00 I paid per certificate and I was paying $49.00 for a 1 hr massage (hardly a deal!)... = their reg cost for first time customers.. $79.00 was for customers with gift certificates. How screwy is that?! different rates depending on how you are going to pay for the same service, seems illegal! I was not prepared to pay that much out of pocket... and ended up having to talk in front of other clients to a gal who was whe pulled in becuase she was in the dark who was defensive snotty and totally rude, she could care less that I was having a poor experience.. and even said I didnt need to yell at her, my tone was not loud at all... she was more then happy to not do a darn thing about it or try to offer solutions to help (little did she know she would have had a loyal customer for life) and I could tell she was happy that I was leaving so she didnt have to 'deal' with me. I thought 1/2 the battle for businesses was getting people in the door! I am not sure how they stay in business with the lack of sincerity and integrity and professionalism they displayed to me... needless to say I walked out of there with certificate still in hand.. BTW they said they sent me the wrong ones and the ones I had they gave out free??? I have never heard such a thing.. then why didnt they remedy right then and there and give me the 'right' ones??? The sad part is I gave the other certificate to my boss thinking she could enjoy a massage on me.. now she will have to pay $29.00 and tip too if she wanted to use it. I feel ripped off unappreciated and even got a virus on my computer when I purchased the deal from groupon.. no one is willing to take responsability here and I am out $40.00, the gas to drive down there and 1.5 hrs of my day (was at noon) on Sunday so took my whole day of plans with it! Dont go to this place there are MANY MANY better offers and experiences out there. I grew up getting massages since I was 13 I am 32 now and a professional sales manager and customer service mgr/ office mgr for a small local business myself... (yes I run the show) and these folks looked like they just got out of massage/beauty school! Not worth the premium price they were trying to get! Massage Envy would have been a safer bet! And that is sayin something right? I would have gotten 2 hours at that price with them! more

A low key relaxing jem 6/25/2010

Eden has one of the best package deals in town. You can't get 3 hours anywhere else for $149 that I have found. The only down side is they don't always answer their phone, but the always give a call back within an hour if I leave a message when trying to make an appointment. Pros: Great Package Deal Cons: More earthy than most spas, (only a con for some people) more

My new favorite place!!!!!!!!!!!! 6/1/2010

I have gone to Eden II about five times for a massage and a facial. Every time I have been there it has been a wonderfully relaxing experience. The package prices are very affordable. I feel like it is an environment that really takes me away from my daily stress. Pros: Professional, Relaxing, Great Value Cons: Not sure yet more

TERRIBLE chiropractic, great massage, CROOKED OWNER. 4/21/2010

So, i have been going on and off over a couple of months in the past year or so. the massage therapists are great, personable and effective. the chiropractor(s) are rude, pushy and greedy. the moment you step into their 'office', they insist on examining you, try to push you into saying certain things about pain and discomfort and the moment you question their billing calmly, Rory gets really mean, short and churlish on you. when you're in the office and spending money, he's nice to you. in a distant way. And they don't tell you how much money they are charging your insurance company, so they are charging you twice the amount of the normal price. i feel RIPPED OFF. Pros: the massage therapy Cons: pushy, greedy owner/chirpractor more

Love it!!! 12/11/2009

I have been going to Eden for about a couple of months now after a car accident for massages and adjustments and what a godsend this place has been for me! Everyone that I've seen has been really good and I've been to quite a few over-priced 5-star resorts that left me regreting going and wasting my money. Pros: beautiful place with tropical plants more

Great Place to wind down and relax 12/5/2009

My friend and i booked a 3 hour Spa Package, ! hour Facial 1 hour Massage and 1 hour Body wrap.. My facial was very relaxing. whatever she used on my face smelled so good. the room was very pretty with plants and different pictures. the day after my face was glowing. My Massage was wonderful the girl used hot towels on my back and feet I asked her to work on my feet and neck i couldn't ask for a better job. the room was so relaxing with plants and fountains and even a fireplace!! It felt warm and cozy. after my massage i recivied a body wrap it wasn't like the body wraps i had recivied before in the past. But the oils thats she used smelled so good and she rub my head and neck while i melted like butter.... My friend had also the great experience as i did we were also given Coupon's for the next time we go back.!!which will be very soon.... Relaxing Spa, Friendly Staff, Good location!! Pros: Beautiful Spa with plants and relaxing music, friendly staff Cons: 2 hour parking in down town denver more

Not impressed. 11/30/2009

I was disappointed. I was expecting a very upscale place, but thought it was below average. The atmosphere was similar to a massage parlor in someone's house, with plants and tchotchkes everywhere, and music too loud. FYI, I purchased their ""New You"" package, which included a massage, facial, and body wrap. Pros: inexpensive Cons: not a polished experience more

Great place! 10/18/2009

I had a facial with Kayla recently and it was great! She looks young, but i was informed that she had been in the skincare business for almost three years now, and her facial definetly proved that! It was so relaxing that i actually fell asleep, and I have never fallen asleep during a facial. She also gave me great tips on what products to get for my teen age daughter who is suffering from bouts of acne. The other girls who worked there were very courteous and friendly, I will definantly be back!! Pros: Great facials, beauiful atmosphere! Cons: Parking downtown more

Awful! 8/24/2009

I thought I would give it a shot based on the 'positive' reviews. I have never been this disappointed with basic eyebrow waxing. I fail to understand how a 'trained' staff could butcher my brows so. Her response?? don't worry it'll grow back!! I am not sure how the rest of the 'services' are, but neither I nor anybody I know will be going to this place. Pros: Nothing Cons: Untrained staff. more

dissapointing experience 6/3/2009

I've been going to Eden Spa for around 7 or 8 years now, if not more, and had always really loved it. My last visit about a year ago was very dissapointing. After numerous mistakes with the booking of my massage appointment, an inexperienced masseuse, and a complacent reaction to my dissapointment as a long-standing customer left me with a bad taste about Eden. One year later I decided to give it another shot in hopes the Spa could redeem itself in my eyes. As someone who frequently needs and gets massages, again I was disspoainted in the apparent lack of expertise by my masseuse (even after specifically requesting someone with experience at the time of booking), and not only did their fees go up nearly $20 since last year (from $60 per hour to $79 per hour), but my massage fell short by 10 minutes. When you're paying upwards of $1.50 per minute that adds up significantly. The atmosphere there has always been relaxing and comfortable, so Eden Spa still is able to maintain one star from me, but I would not reccommend the spa to others as a place to go for a therapeutic professional massage experience. more

Love the Relaxing Atmosphere and Custmer Service 10/6/2007

I love how quiet and relaxing Eden II Spa is, I destress just minutes after arriving!!! Pros: Great relaxing Ambience! Parking is easy. more

This place has spoiled me for anything else 10/5/2007

I have been to Eden II on four seperate occasions for massages, twice for prenatal massage. Every time I have gone I have had a marvelous experience, and I have tried two different masseurs. I like a strong deep tissue massage, and I have never been disappointed. I highly recommend Dan- I had never tried a male masseur before, but he is excellent, experienced, professional, and made me very comfortable, and actually did my prenatal work. Pros: Excellent masseurs, great atmosphere, easy street parking Cons: I can't afford to go once a week more

Best massage in Denver! 7/19/2007

I went to EdenII at first due to a gift certificate I received. I've returned because I love it. I've had many massages and the ones I've received from Elaine are heaven. The minute I walk in the door I feel relaxed. The atmosphere at the spa is so peaceful and the rooms are heaven, low lighting, plants, water elements, soft music, this place fits me to a ""T"". The tables are just the right padding, very comfortable. If you are looking for a relaxing atmosphere with excellent service, this is the place. The greenery and ambiance are divine. I feel so good when I leave. It's not the place to go during the day, not because they are busy, but the relaxation is total! I went somewhere else after my massages here, again due to a gift certificate. I felt cheated. After leaving their competitor, I immediately called for an appointment with Elaine! Keep up the good work. Pros: Service Cons: Street parking, but available. more

Good Deal 5/6/2007

I saw the deal for the $99 massage and facial.. so I had to check it out. The atmosphere is cozy lots of brick and greenery. I had the massage first with I think her name was Nicole. She did a good job, I like a stronger massage and she really got in there using forearms, elbows and concentrating on my problem neck area. Then I went to the facial and my skin looked great after, my only issue with the facial was the upsell during my facial for the microdermabrasion. I actually have very good skin and get facials fairly regularly and use really good products at home. No aesthetician has ever suggested this to me. I don't mind her trying to make money, but i wish she had not done it in the middle of my facial, it made me uncomfortable. I will definitely go back for another massage. more

The opposite of relaxation 6/18/2006

I got a package at this spa as a birthday present. Twice I asked the masseuse to stop pressing so hard, and the pressure was still too much. The whole massage hurt and I went home bruised. The facial was okay, but the woman who did it was constantly pressuring me to buy the salon's facial products. She basically said I have terrible skin that needed to be saved by their wonderous products, and suggested that I sign up for a 6-session microderm abrasion package, as well as a facial peel package. Way too much for a 22-year old's skin in my opinion. Upon leaving, I felt more stressed and self-conscious than when I went in. more
