I spent 5 nites here last week. It is in an older part of town within EASY walking distance of the old italian market/restaurant part of town as well as the fort. Yes there is a railroad track next to the motel but i only heard the train one time, during the day. I was an elderly, handicapped female alone & never felt unsafe. There were new towels daily & bed was made. I wish they would have vacummed more,but that is the only thing 'wrong'..no weird smells, tv & refrig worked well . freindly people at front desk as well as helpful with directions to area places. AND they are dog friendly -thank you!!
