Easy Seafood Company is a trendy, upscale, restaurant that recently opened in downtown Chattanooga, in a section of the historic old Coca-Cola bottling plant on Broad Street. It is a short stroll from the Tennessee Aquarium and other downtown attractions.
The restaurant features a full-bar and a variety of Cajun and Creole dishes including Louisiana Crawfish Etouffe, Creole Brisket, Po Boy sandwiches, and Gulf Shrimp with Yellow grits. I ordered the Crawfish Etouffe, and found it to be very tasty. Available side dishes include vegetable of the day, smashed potatoes, linguine, and yellow rice.
Easy Seafood Company offers a full menu of appetizers, specialty dishes, sandwiches, salads, and desserts. Daily specials are listed on large, centrally located ,chalkboard.
This restaurant is small, offering a charming, casual, atmosphere, with a hint of romance. The prices normally range from around $5.99-$12.99, although some of the specials are a bit pricey. They also offer patio seating.
Easy Seafood Company, although it just opened in Spring of 2005, will likely become a Chattanooga favorite. With good food, and a quaint ambiance, it is a nice addition to the downtown dining scene.
