Best

This place gets busy when it's nice out, being right across from Lake Union. The burgers and beers are good. I especially like the happy hour; mac and cheese balls, yam fries, ...

Great views. However, parking is almost impossible. Service was mediocre, and the happy hour menu was a bit...

Crowded Tables Long Wait 4/29/2013

Met a friend with our kids here for lunch. We had to wait about 30 minutes for a table, the atmosphere was crowded with not much room on the table to keep things out of the baby's reach and I worried about staff dropping items on him as they walked by. The food was good. Will come back but won't bring my kid here next time. more

Great View Awesome Happy Hour 4/29/2013

good for lunch 10/20/2007

Yesterday I had lunch here with a work colleague. We both enjoyed our entrees although the side salad I opted for (over fries) with my salmon sandwich was a little over the top with the dressing. It's easy to overwhelm a mixed green salad with too much vinaigrette. The BBQ salmon sandwich was tasty though and I had no problem finishing it. My pal had a big turkey sandwich (with cranberry and cream cheese) with fries and she pretty much cleaned the plate. We then shared a sundae for dessert. A tasty finish to a tasty little meal (sans the salad). Also nice is that they take the Passport card so we saved about $11 as well on the bill. Nice! Since this restaurant is just down the street from my real estate brokerage office, I will be back. more

Eastlake Bar and Grill -- good view from the deck, good happy hour, and not totally jammed 8/15/2006

The food isn't spectacular, but it's passable. The happy prices are good, and the view from the deck is hard to beat. more

Eastlake Bar & Grill 7/22/2006

We just had dinner at the Eastlake Bar & Grill. The deck is wonderful. The drinks, salad, and appetizers were good (but came all at once). The server was very friendly. The entrees were entirely flavor-free. I would most certainly recommend this for drinks and snacks. Don't bother ordering a full meal. I will certainly return for a happy hour style evening. I will not order dinner here again. more

Try the Easter "brunch" 4/14/2006

We just came from happy hour here, and the table tents said "Celebrate Easter with us." It includes deals on Bloody Marys and Screwdrivers. Seriously. more

Excellent Happy Hour 12/6/2005

The food was great and extremely cheap. Good apetizers for 2-3 dollars as well as Guiness for $3.50, thats hard to top. The service was excellent as well, theres few things worse then staring at an empty glass, but that was not a problem here. more

My Happy Hour Headquarters 12/5/2005

The next time you're with friends and are looking for a good drink, some tasty food, and a place conducive to conversation, head over to the Eastlake Bar and Grill. I go every Sunday night and am always recruiting new fans of their fantastic happy hour menu. They have adequate seating, nice staff, and have achieved that nice balance of being a place where you can meet new people or just sit and talk to those you came with. I especially recommend their grilled bread and coconut prawns. more

Letting the cat out of the B.A.G. 12/5/2005

Eastlake Bar and Grill really hits the mark, and I've been a fan since its opening for several reasons. Firstly, I'm always up for a bar and grill (or as I call them, bags), and Eastlake Bar and Grill is an excellent choice for bag lovers. Secondly, you really can't beat the location, as it has a great view of the water, and Eastlake is very easy to get to. But, most importantly, I just like the environment (not to mention the wicked quesedillas). I can honestly and sincerely recommend Eastlake Bar and Grill. more

Very average 8/3/2004

I was in on the lunch and had some of the appetizers as well. I think they're tag line should be "come have your typical TGIFriday's type fare at a slightly higher cost". If you're expectations are of the "Denny's is OK" variety, you'll be happy with this place. more

Just ok steak house 8/3/2004

I know steak has become popular because of the almighty atkins diet...but this restaurant is just ok. The Judy's Book team went to the restaurant to celebrate the closing of the Series A financing. We ordered our drinks and the waitress proceeded to accidentally spill two glass of wine and one glass of beer across an entire side of the table. She was sincerely apologetic ....but it colored our view of service at the restaurant. I ordered the steak salad and that was pretty good....in general, that's how I'd characterize the food -- pretty good. Not bad, not great. more
