This bank is mostly for Chinese people. They are a very traditional bank. A lot of the transactions are still dealt with using old means of ways. I happen to like it. All that new technology stuff with Bof A is a little complicated sometimes. Albeit that BofA has more products to offer, they also have more fees and and less interest rates. East West bank has higher interest rates and keeps it simple. There are not 8 different kinds of checking accounts like BofA. more

Excellent Bank 8/14/2005

This bank is typically for people of Asian origin but they take good care of me. Their mortgage rates are competitive with the other large regional banks of Los Angeles, and they did not charge me for checking. Check to see if their is one near you, and find out whether you like the bank as much as I do more

I'm probably friends with all the staff at this branch.. 8/10/2005

I've been going to this particular bank for most of my time here in Rosemead, mostly because I couldn't understand English when I first came to America. The staff are particularly nice, but maybe that's because I've been friends with them for the longest time. I do all my checking and banking at this bank (except my mortgage, shh... don't tell). It's nice for them to leave coffee out for guests and to be small and cozier than the large, cold banks that I've sometimes have been too. more

It ok 8/9/2005

This bank was the first bank that my parents ever went to. That bank has a lot of Chinese people work there and you can trust them with your money. The best part is that when you go there you don’t have to wait because they have a lot of worker to help you with what you need. They also have so good rate when you need to borrow money. more
