When you walk into this place, you are transported to a faraway Southeast Asian getaway. They've invested a lot in the decor and it's eyecatching. Especially at night, when they have the lights on outside on the lanai. Pretty romantic date night place, I think. They also have good food--the naan breads are yummy, the char siu fish too. Corn fritters--oh, man, I could up my cholesterol eating those all day. Anyway, it's all ordered family style, usually, which can add up. So that can make for a pricey date with a gigantic doggie bag. But, if that date goes well and you have to meet the fam, you can bring them here.
I wanted to give it 4 stars, but couldn't. One thing I did notice, the sauces and food are all very savory and well-salted, so if you don't like that kind of flavorful, then you might want to steer clear. Oh, and when they first opened, their service was close to pathetic, so I hope they've improved that point. And then, of course, there's the cost factor. Otherwise, this is a fantastic place.
