Wonderful 1/5/2012

First time and was definitely a great experience! The staff was professional and friendly! Got a 30 minute massage by Lisa! Best massage I've ever had! The atmosphere is decorated tastefully! The massage room was dark ad comfortable! I even got a chocolate candy:) I will definitely be going back again soon! more

I have been to many Aveda salons throughout the world and this is by far the worst one. I will NOT be going back, ever! They're pricing book and colorist prices do not match up. I had a consultation and they told me one price..,I also asked multiple time what the charge would be. Once the color was on my hair, they told me it would be 50+ dollars more. I asked why and they stated it was because they used more color. A professional colorist would know how to give a proper and correct consultation. This left me in shock and disbelief, after already applying the color. I have them one more chance and the same thing happened, except the receptionist told me at the counter as I was paying for service. This is unexceptable & unprofessional!!!! I would NEVER recommend this location. They are a disgrace to the Aveda name. more

Jessica at E Aveda cut and styled my hair on 12-3-11. I presented her with the challenging task of fixing a botched barbershop cut and creating a new and fresh style. She was attentive and openminded. She has excellent skills. I will refer friends and look forward to my next appointment. more

deep tissue massage 12/29/2011

have had excellent deep tissue massages with Scooter...she compares very well with previous therapists I have used, and is very effective in working out the stress in neck/shoulders/back area. would recommend her highly. more

Great nail service! 12/22/2011

I came into the salon on Dec. 14th just to have waxing done, but since it went so quickly, I had time to have a manicure as well. I was seen by Cierra and she did an amazing job on my nails. She was professional and kind and even threw in a pedicure since they were having a special! i would recommend this place to anyone!!! more

Tried gel nails for the first time. I have heard they can lift like acrylic nails. Mine have stayed looking "fresh" for 2 weeks now! So happy with them!! more

I went in to buy hair products, although I wasn't exactly sure what I wanted and the lady at the counter was extremely helpful. She went through the products and explained each one clearly and told me which ones would be best for my hair. She was not pushy and didn't try to sell me the most expensive product. She actually suggested that I get the travel size to see if I like it before i purchase a bottle. One of the hair stylists came over and explained to me how to use the products I was interested in buying. They made me feel comfortable and assured that I would be satisfied with my purchase, which I was! more

I saw Nikkole for a brazilian wax just before the due date of my second child. I was really nervous and she made me feel at ease and did an awesome job. She was very professional and knowledgable. From the first moment, I knew I was in good hands. more

I went for the waxing promotion online, and it was exactly everything I could have wanted. I will be a repeat customer; the waxing service was better than anywhere else I have ever been. I rated the salon 5 stars based on this experience, and now I feel comfortable branching into other services like hair color. I trust they know what they are doing at this place. more

I will be returning to get more waxing and I will not need to look for any other place in Bakersfield for this service. Nothing else in town can compete with the quality here. I've waxed for years at many places all over California and Florida, and this is the best. more
