Fantastic Experience! 10/3/2013

I stopped in to this salon while visiting New York City for my sisters wedding. This was a beautiful salon located in Manhattan. The decor of the salon was beautiful. The staff was very professional and friendly. There were a large amount of affordable spa packages to choose from. While visiting I had the pleasure of enjoying facials, pedicures, manicures, and Brazilian waxes with my sister and her bridesmaids. Many of the girls used this salon as their primary nail salon. I could no have been happier with my experience! more

Favorite place in the world!!! 9/26/2013

The best discovery ever!!!!!!!!! I've been coming back for more and more spa treatments (including the brazilian wax). I come here several times a year, I live in New Jersey so it's not always easy to get to Manhattan, but its well worth the money and effort to drive up there. Every time I go there it's just my time to recline, I always feel at home and sanctioned there. I just recently received a gift certificate for my birthday and got an OPI gel polish manicure and let me tell you it stayed on for nearly 2 weeks. I was so ecstatic.The lady doing my manicure was so sweet and was super engaging in the conversation. I also got a Jelly Peddi which is one of my favorites!!!! Because my feet feel so soft and relaxed after. Also, my skin is not the best and I tend to break out on my face a lot. My facial skin has a mind of its own and it fluctuates time after time. In the winter my face is dry and in the summer season my face gets oily and breaks out in the most random places. So for my acne in the summer I come get the Deep Pore Cleansing facial. After I get that done I notice less and less breakouts and the oiliness vanishes. For the winter I get the european facial it just rejuvenates my skin and it feels soft and pampered. This is the only place where I get my eyebrows threaded because I only trust them, they know what they're doing. My eyebrows are thick and full and they know exactly what I like and i never had any skin reactions no problematic things come along. They use the most natural products for my skin and I like to buy their products so I can use them at home as well. I love to get my mom gift certificates to this place because she can't get enough of their massages her favorite is the 90 minute Fusion massage. Best place to get it!!!!! You get your money's worth at this place definitely ! Everyone in my family goes to this place, it's friendly, sanitary, and beautiful!! Get your loved one a gift over here and you will never regret it ! more

Nice Place, 7/6/2010

My college friends and I were planning a girls weekend only. I was in charge of finding the nail salon to go to in Manhattan. Being from Miami, I was nervous as I made our appointment for day of relaxation, never being to the Dyanna -Body &Nail Salon before. As we walked in and were greated by friendly lady at the front desk. She sat us next to each other for our pedicures and made sure we were sitting next to each other when we were getting our nails done as well. I was so pleased with the service and the quality of work. My girlfriends and I had a blast at Dyanna Spa, and when we are back in NY, I will make sure we come in again. more

Blackcurrant Facial 6/29/2010

I have been a Dyanna Spa client for a while. I have always been amazed at the new and fun treatments they constantly add to the ones that are already their staples. So the newest one I have seen was the blackcurrant facial. It was amazing, made my skin soft, moisturized and helped calm the inflammation patches that I had in some areas. The service is great at Dyanna from the moment you step into the salon, and the treatments never disappoint :) more

I went to a wedding recently and one of the gift bag items there was a certificate to the Dyanna Salon NYC. I have never been there myself previously, but my friends have always raved of how good the place is. I decided to try it out for myself. I went in last week for a manicure and pedicure. The service was superb from the moment I walked in. I was greeted and taken to the back of the salon to get my pedicure. Maria was my technician and she is fantastic. She suggested a bunch of colors for me and helped me pick out what i wanted. We had a pleasant conversation throughout the time I was there. What I have found out, is that despite being in the heart of Manhattan, Dyanna Spa's costs are extremely reasonable and the service is excellent. I already scheduled my next appointment! more

Caviar Facial Treatment - Miracle Anti-Aging Cure! Love this spa! 6/16/2010

I'm a HUGE fan of sunshine and in my day, have definitely done my share of deep frying in tanning beds and on beaches. Needless to say, my skin is now paying its dues and I've been trying to find solutions to reverse the aging process everywhere. I come to Dyanna Spa for manicures and pedicures regularly, and one day overheard a girl raving about the Caviar facial she had received at the salon and what wonders it did for the texture of her skin and her fine lines. Before my nails could dry, I made an appointment to try it out also. I wish I knew the name of the girl who was praising it so highly, because I would thank her a million times! What a difference just ONE facial made! Apparently caviar has some incredible anti-aging properties, and the day after the facial everyone was commenting on what great skin I had and how fab I looked. If you live in NYC and are looking for a great all around spa with anti-aging treatments that DELIVER RESULTS, look no further than Dyanna! more

OPI Manicure 6/3/2010

I have visited Dyanna Spa over the past weekend to get manicure and pedicure. I have not tried their new OPI gel manicure but decided to give it a whirl. It is fantastic, because my manicure rarely lasts a whole week and this one does! My manicurist was Gori (hope i spelled it right) and she is wonderful! We had a nice talk while she was working and I was impressed by her attention to details. I had a very pleasant experience at Dyanna Spa. I will go back there for more.. more

French Mani/Pedi 5/12/2010

Last week I went to Dyanna Salon to get french manicure and pedicure for an upcoming event I am going to. The experience was relaxing and extremely pleasant. Olga was my technician and she is a sweetheart, she was very attentive and interactive the whole time with me. She is also one of those people who do not rush and make sure the job is done properly. I was extremey satisfied with my choice of the spa and the final result of mani & pedi. more

Best spa manicure and spa pedicure 4/16/2010

I go to Dyanna Salon all of the time for my brazilian waxes but the other day I went for a spa manicure and pedicure. It was amazing! I had babies skin on my feet after the spa pedicure. It was also really relaxing and they didnt rush through everything like I have seen in alot of places. This place is wonderful and I would recommend that everyone should try it. more

The sweetest European Nail Salon in NYC! 4/15/2010

I am very particular about my manicure and pedicure, and did not have good experience with nail salons before, but recently I have discovered this hidden treasure at the Flatiron - Dyanna Nail Salon-Spa! First of all, I was pleasantly surprised with their VERY affordable (Mani + Pedi $30) prices as compared to other spas in Gramercy Park neighborhood or Manhattan in general. The nail specialists are very skillful and friendly. My speacialist really did a great job and my manicure polish lasted for about 8 days! I always receive compliments on my nails, because they look well-maintained at all the time. I usually recommend this salon to my friends and collegues and they love it as well. more

Best place for Facial hair removal in New York! 3/26/2010

I have been waxing and treading (upper lip / chin) my whole life, and was getting a bit annoyed with the fact that you have to go back every month and do it all over again. When I heard about permanent hair removal via - electrolysis and that Dyanna Spa in NYC was rated the best spa for hair removal I couldn't resist giving it a try- especially since the price point is not all that different from waxing. Dyanna Spa is conveniently located in Gramercy Park, Manhattan, so it was very close to my work. As soon as I tried it, I loved the results. Now I have been going there for over a year, treating various areas and adding more and more areas, and have nothing but good things to say. They use the most up-to-date equipment. Dyanna Spa is always exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The electrologist is very polite and attentive to my needs. I see great results - most of the hair is gone and I know they will not return. I would recommend this method to anyone for permanent hair removal method. As far as I know, Electrolysis is great for all types of hair and smaller areas where precision is needed as well as blond and gray hair (which cannot be treated by laser). more

BEST WAXING IN GRAMERCY PARK NEIGHBOURHOOD (MANHATTAN, NYC) 2/22/2010

Its a wonderful place !!!! i was a walk in customer and i was welcomed, they took me right away :) what a great place what made me try it is the happy faces i saw going out of that spa, i was surprised by the staff, they're so generous and kind and they keep you relaxed. I had a Brazilian wax, they used a lot of great product that relieved the skin and relax it before and after actually what i love most that they r fast and professional . i used to have some rash and my skin turns red well with them I didn't face that. Best place to have you waxing done!!!!Highly recommended! more

Brazilian Manicure and Pedicure in New York City! I Love It! Best Nail Salon! 2/12/2010

I recently I went to Dyanna Nail Salon Spa in Manhattan to try the new Brazilian Keratin Manicure and Pedicure at the suggestion of a friend. I was not disappointed. First of all, the staff is professional and polite. They make sure that you are as comfortable as possible. I was a little bit hesitant to try a "water" free mani/pedi, but after the 1.5 hr Brazilian Mani/Pedi, have officially become a convert to this new approach! I believe this is one of the only nail salons that do Brazilian Manicure and Pedicure in NYC. The price is extremely reasonable as well $16- mani and $28-pedi. After the treatment, my skin felt softer and nails stronger than ever, thanks to the specially lined gloves they use moisturize the skin and strengthen the nails. I highly reccomend it!! more

Best manicure and waxing in NEW YORK! 10/21/2009

I love this place the people who do my eyebrows and my nails (Sabina, and Lana) they do a great job on my nails and eyebrows, the prices there are very reasonable. There's a lot of people who go here to get their nails done. I even see guys get manicures and pedicures, yeah I know guys might think it's gay but what do they know? Guys don't know anything , they don't even care really, they don't care how messed up their cuticles are. Us women know it's nice to pamper ourselves every now and then and it's healthy for our nails.They do a great job doing nails and waxing. more

Dyanna Salon- the Best in Manhattan! 1/9/2009

This is by far the best salon in the Gramercy park area if not all of Manhattan. I have tried many other salons for manicures, pedicures, waxes, and massages and all i would get was over priced mediocre work.. At Dyanna the services are A+, the staff is friendly, the place is newly renovated and chic, and the prices are the best. I would highly recommend to anyone in need of a great beauty service salon in Manhattan!! more

If you want a great massage, go somewhere else 5/31/2005

If, on the other hand, you want a rather painful "body rub" - think a full body "Indian Burn" - this is the place for you. My experience at Dyanna was definitely sub-par, it had nothing to do with massage and shouldn't have been advertised as such. The therapist had a medical, not therapeutic, background and the touch to prove it (yikes!). She did no deep work, just a rough body rub accompanied by complaints about how hard her job was. At one point she squirted cold oil directly from the bottle onto my leg, yikes! again. I suppose that I should have been grateful that the experience came to an end after only 45 minutes, except that they still expected me to pay for an hour's massage, and informed me that I was "very rude" for refusing to pay for service I didn't receive. (The spa menu I took from the box outside the door didn't specify that changing time was part of the hour). Oh, and did I mention that about 3/4 of the way through the massage the "Twin Peaks" theme song came on the stereo in the massage room? Not disturbing, but a little distracting...to say the least. more
