Last night, because CC wanted steak, we ended up at Durango's steakhouse (her call). We had the sampler platter, salads and two cuts of meat and baked potatoes. Well that's the good part of it. We've eaten at a lot of places in Atlanta, from some of the top restaurants to greasy spoons, and well, I know good and this wasn't it. The sampler was probably the best part of the meal, with the chicken taquitos and badly done chicken fingers. The salads were...there. The steaks, which were supposed to be their best cuts (prime rib for her, cowboy cut for me) were less than, well, they were there, and not very good for the price. The space is small, crowded and loud. And oddly designed, as I still don't get how the patio works. If you're looking for a quality steak house, this would not be it. It's really more a tourist - trapped in downtown- not really sure what else is out there - well let's eat here because someplace else is too croweded - kind of place. And it's not really too good at that either.
Pros: It's there
Cons: It's there
