These movers are truly amazing. I had selected them based on the strong recommendations from this site. Wow, those reviews were right on the mark. They take the extra care to make sure all the furniture is wrapped and protected, yet are extremely efficient. Another standout quality is the incredible level of politeness and helpfulness throughout the entire move. I have done 15 moves in my life with 8 of them here in the city (using larger, well known movers) and Dumbo Movers is truly stand out company. Pros: Amazing value - fixed price. Courteous above what you would ever expect. Very careful with wrapping furniture and moving in and out of the apartment. Cons: None from this move. more

The Movers from Dumbo Moving & Storage are the most fastest workers i have ever witnessed in my entire life, they were also very curteous and very careful with my fragile items. Dumbo Moving are the BEST movers I have ever encountered. I basically move about once a year. They have always been there to assist me! Local or Long distance. The movers are reliable, honest, courteous and handsome! I trust no one else with my personal items. My neighbor used a different moving company after i recomended Dumbo Moving. She thought an hourly rate would be more efficient cost wise. By the end of her move she paid triple the inital price. Dumbo gave me a guaranteed price that didn't change even though I had about six extra boxes than listed, the price remained the same and the movers did not complain about it, conversely they wanted to asure that there wasn't anything left behind. Bottom line, Dumbo Moving is the best, most professional, well organized moving company that I ever used. I HIGHLY recommend them. Pros: Fast and efficient more

Dumbo miraculously performed the fastest, smoothest move of my life. The crew packed my apartment and moved me in record time. The whole thing took less than 2 hours, and I have a lot of things. They were very careful with my items (NOTHING broke!), and set everything up for me in my new apartment. On top of it, the price was very reasonable. Well... were should i start - DUMBO MOVING came highly recommended to me from friends at my office - when i called, the guy who answer the phone (Danny) had this quick respond type of representation (the way i like it) - he didn't waste any time - he knew the building i was going to move into - he knew how long it's going to take- and most important he made me feel comfortable : he was honest and this guy knew what he was talking about - every scenario i asked about - he had a direct, straight forward answer . the price was fair - and it was a guaranteed price - Danny explain how this system is better the hourly charges - and what can i say? it make sense. \r the day of the move came - and the guys arrived 10 minutes early. the head guy - Predrag ( i hope i got the name right) filled up the paperwork with me - and the next thing you know - this guys started to run up and down the stairs in a chain system.\r now, this no joke, i had a lot of stuff and everything came down 6 flights of stairs, this guys didn't stop for a break - even item that wasn't so important - they wrapped and protected, Predrag (the head guy) was commanding the guys and they obey for what ever he said with respect. it's like watching a special forces platoon in action.\r when we got to the new building the superintendend was kind of fussy - he start giving us additude both me and the movers - but, again Predrag handle the situation in the coolest way - the just kept working till the super came down.\r at the end - i was very happy , and when i gave them the tip - they all thank me and told me that : ""you are a very generous guy"".\r I'm telling you - you don't meet people like that every day.\r this guys are awesome - DUMBO MOVING are the best. This company is great. The price was affordable, customer service was polite, and the move itself went very smoothly - there was absolutely nothing broken, the crew finished the job quickly, and were very helpful. Overall, I had a great experience working with Dumbo Moving - it was so much more pleasant than working with the big moving companies, as I always did in the past, who treat you like a number and charge a fortune. I was super stressed about moving from Boston to NYC due to the large amount of stuff I had to bring with me. Dumbo movers made my transition a smooth one. They were incredibly careful with my furniture and boxes, the price was exactly what was agreed upon (contrary to many movers in the city!), and the movers were very nice. WOW- this company is GREAT! From start to finish, this was the best experience I have ever had with a moving company. The customer service reps were so proffessional, upfront, HONEST, helpful. They gave me a flat rate quote for my move. I was really afraid that the day of the move, they were going to *spring* new charges on me, as has been my experience with every other mover in this city. But there were no additional charges- the quote they gave me is what they charged me. The move itself was flawless- the guys were punctual and professional. They did they job really fast, but most importantly they DID NOT BREAK A THING!!!! And I live on a fourth floor walk-up and own a piano! They moved everything, with no problem, no stress, no complaints, no hidden fees. The whole experience was stress-free. This company is FANTASTIC!! The best in the city. I highly recomend!!!!
