In Oct. 2005, I was in Las Vegas on a business trip and took some co-workers to eat at Lali-Bela. The place was being refurbished but was still open for business. The owner is extremely gracious and came over to our table to apologize for the looks of the place. We were so happy with the service and quality of the food, the lack of decor was not even a thought. Delicious Ethiopian food at a very low cost. Full of taxi cab drivers so you can always get a cab ride back to your hotel. You won't see mainstream America here, this is for the ""Ethiopian locals"". They are cooking for their own people so we knew it was good! I go to Las Vegas on business frequently and make it a point to stop by on every trip.
