I confess, I sometimes come to DSW just to get a hit of their rockin' 80s music. Aside from that, it's soothing to stroll up and down their nine million aisles of every kind of shoe you can imagine: high end $300 Marc Jacobs pumps all the way to $18 Rocket Dog sneakers. The first floor is women's shoes and handbags. The second floor has men's shoes, all athletic shoes and the sale shoes. Markdowns happen each week here and the longer shoes sit, the cheaper they get. I've gotten some pricey gems here for as little as $10. Trends come and go, so don't give up if you come up empty the first time. Also the best place to get basic "I'm in a wedding" shoes - where else will you find this many varieties of black (or pink or silver) sandal? more

Plus they have handbags, backpacks, duffle bags and more. I also love that they sell Burt's Bees Products which can be hard to find. I always stop by their clearance section to find a steal. more
