I went to dinner at Dry Dock on a Tuesday night with my boyfriend. He had warned me that it wasn't that good, but I was sucked in by the look of the place. We sat outside and all tables were dirty. Had to ask three times to get our table cleaned. To drink, I just had water, which tasted like dirt, so I got an iced tea. I ordered the Shrimp Doty, which is in the section on the menu that comes with veggies and rice. It arrived without the sides, so I asked the guy who brought it, who seemed to be the owner or manager. He explained that it didn't come with the sides, so I conceeded that maybe I was looking at something else. Still, he offered to give me pity rice so I would be ok. ""Complimentary"" rice never came. It didn't sit right with me, so I asked for a menu. Sure enough, it IS supposed to come with sides. Told the waiter (another guy), and he said it was a mistake on the menu. By then we were done with our meals, and so I asked him to credit the sides, which I thought was natural. He said no, because it was a mistake on the menu. I explained that they can't make up what they decide to serve and charge the same. THEY HAVE TO FOLLOW THE MENU. He then went to talk to the owner and I ended up with a $2 credit.\r
Food is just ok, but definitely not worth the prices. Better off at Sea Island, or even Red Lobster. Water Street Grill and White Fish have great happy hour oysters.
Pros: Laid-back, local hangout feel
Cons: Overpriced food, terrible service. Don't drink the water!
