Finding your Dream... 4/23/2006

You are almost guaranteed to have good dreams when staying at the Dream hotel. It may be a bit too hip for some (cool as anything bar up top, some small rooms, Serafina's on the ground level and a Deepak Chopra spa) but the location is hard to beat for Times Square lovers, those who want to hit the Upper West Side or Lincoln Center. It is also fairly close to a variety of subway stops. more

"Dream" 11/11/2005

When I went on to Expedia, I saw beautiful pictures and great rates. I immediately booked this hotel. I thought this hotel was too good to be true. And it was. I mean, it wasn't totally horrible, but our room was tiny. It was more like a closet than a hotel room. The decor was pretty nice. The A/C was awfully annoying during the night. The service wasn't four-star quality. The best thing about this hotel is the location. more

Relaxing Hotel by Central Park 8/16/2005

Dream is a botique hotel on W 55th St near the south end of Central Park. It's north of Times Square and definately within walking distance (around 10 minutes) of most of the major Broadway theaters and other Times Square attractions. The rooms are a bit small, but resonable by New York City Standards. The rooms are well furnished and stacked with lots of rather chic amenities, including a Bose wave radio, connectors for your iPod, and even flat panel LCD televisions. Pricing is not cheap--expect to pay around $200 to $300 per each night. But you do get what you pay for, and this hotel has service that is impeccable and the staff is magnificient. more
