I'm a 60 year old cancer patient who transfered to Dr. Cineas from Lahey Clinic for primary care. I find her services to be superior in every regard. I'm particularly impressed by the thorough, comprehensive treatment provided. For example, her medical records screen picked up missing immunizations, including one for pneumonia. Coping with the stress of cancer, mentioned as a concern by my wife, elicited appropriate follow up on subsequent visits regarding family dynamics and mental health. Her professionalism and sensitivity to the concerns of the patient are excellent. more

Public health oriented physician for adults and children 8/16/2005

Dr. Cineas is an internist and a pediatrician. She is public health oriented (e.g., she asks about partner violence, gun ownership and seat belt use, something not all physicians do) and seems to be up to date on the latest in evidence based health care. In other words, you will not be getting antibiotics unless you have a documented bacterial infection and/or are on the brink of death. She is willing to share the reasons behind her recommendations, and doesn't talk down to her patients. Her office staff and nurses are pleasant. more
