Efficient! 6/29/2016

She's been my dr a long time and has delivered several of my babies. I love her quirkiness and her efficiency. I personally haven't had a bad experience with her. Her daughter is a nurse practioner there too and alternates seeing patients every other visit. This seems to be a newer thing since I last had a baby. My appointments are so much quicker now with that setup. I understand that dr Rodier gets called to deliveries even in the middle of appointments which I don't mind since I'd want her to be there asap for my labors also. more

Sucks 2/22/2016

Dr rodier does not listen.I spend more time waiting to see her then actually seeing her. They do not offer their pregnant patients any type of vaccines...which I received vaccines during my other pregnancies through Vanderbilt women's center.once when I was sick and had a cough that just wouldn't go away..she did not care to listen to my symptoms and told me to go next door to the hospital or go see a pcp.All she really does is look at your hoohaa and that's it.I can't stand her. more

I'd recommend 2/28/2012

I love her she was very great and fun though the check ups were uncomfortable I'm glad I came to her to deliver my last 2 children who are now over 2years old and another that's almost 1 I've been with her since July 2009 and I love it there more

She is a great doctor and very attentive 1/30/2012

Dr. Rodier has been my doctor for more than 15 years. I just had 2 babies within 2 years and she delivered both. She is a bit quirky sometimes but her bedside manner is still wonderful. Her nurses are super sweet, (especially Rhonda). sometimes I have to wait more than 1 hour to see her but she has a lot of OB patients and is actively delivering at Baptist and Centennial all the time. So I understand that emergencies come up and she has to deliver right then. If it were me, I would want her there for my emergency. I would recommend her to any of my friends. more

I Highly Recommend Dr. Rodier 7/5/2011

I've been a patient of Dr. Rodier's for 25 years. She delivered my daughter 22 years ago. I have seen her every single year for my exam and have had additional visits for other issues. She is an excellent doctor, has stellar bedside manner, and is very knowledgeable on new studies and medication. I have highly recommended her to many other women over the years. I can't say enough positive things about Dr. Rodier AND her staff. more

would never recommend.. was a terrible experience 8/11/2010

However "good" of a doctor she is she is terrible to deal with on any personal level. My wait was often more then 1 hour and close to 2! She would not listen, was rough during my check ups and leave me bleeding or a mess in the stirrups with no way to clean myself. She pays little to no attention. Her staff is great.. angles for having to deal with her. She is crazy, a total train wreck. I am now having my second baby and will NOT nor EVER go back to her. Avoid... I have another friend who was high risk that will never go to her either. more

NO NO NO 8/19/2009

only one star bc I could not leave "0". She did not listen to me as a patient and nearly lost my child because she did not listen. I tried to fire her but was already in the hospital. It did not have to be that way! she robbed me of my 3rd trimester with "statics" instead of listening to me as a patient. more

Wonderful Physician 8/19/2009

Dr. Rodier has been my doctor for almost 20 years. During all of my pregnancies she was attentive, detail-oriented and thorough. She researches her information and comes back with various alternatives, as needed. Never any doubt that she is a fantastic physician. more

Rude office staff, difficulty in scheduling pts, long waits 7/21/2009

Unfortunately, Dr. Rodier has taken her patients and practice for granted. She has allowed a young office staff to speak with her patients in a rude manner, uncaring, and unhelpful. This is very disconcerting as I have referred many patients to her over the years but they are all experiencing poor service, no ability to see Dr. Rodier directly and most patients are referred to her nurse practitioner or physician assistant. This is no longer a practice I will recommend. more

Wouldn't let her deliever puppies 3/24/2009

Was my doctor for a few years. All was fine. Pregnancy was not a good easy, induced labor all smiles she left, had other patients and such. Understandable. At 6cm babies heartrate dropping, my oxgyen lvl low, no once can find here, there are no beds in the or. Nurses are running all over my room. She comes in. turns off the internal fetal montior sound(hubby turns it back on) checks me says im not far enough yet. leaves, says will be right back. Stops induction with meds. stuck. epi wears off- dr thinks its a good idea to float the cord with putting iv solution into my vagina??!! cant breathe head no one comes. hubby cant find anyone. I hurt all over, no dr, nurses keep telling me they are going to take me to the OR in as soon as they can find the dr. I sit for another 6 hours. finally after 11pm she comes manually unwraps the cord from my babys neck and body. Im on oxygen, the room is full of nurses, and my baby is the Nicu for 13 days. From the way that she tore me I had mangled stitches and I left her practice. I did my follow up with another doctor. And I had to have my stitches redone. more

Mother by miracle!! 1/10/2009

I was having signs of labor at 4 month. I went and seen 3 different doctors and they all just told me that I would miss carry; that I would deliver at 5 or months. They told me to wait it out or abort. I went and seen Dr. Rodier after that. She gave me words of encouragemen. she put me in an inpatient hospital and helped my doctors figure out how to keep me from delivering. I made it to 7 1/2 months. I had my son weighing 3 pounds 12 oz. NO BREATHING PROBLEMS NOTHING!! She is a wonderfull doctor and I would recommend her to anyone. more

She's worth the wait! 10/27/2008

I've been her patient for about 5 years now. My son is 2 years old. Now, if she wasn't so good, she wouldn't have many patients. Also you're not a stickler and insist on seeing Rodier only, then Carol is excellent as well. I 've seen them both several times. During my pregnancy they took good care of me. I had a huge fibroid blocking my child's way out. I appreciated her not trying to "see how it was going to play out in the delivery room. She make it clear early how she would handle things and she did!!! more

does not listen! could have been prevented! 6/2/2008

I had her as my GYN before getting preg. So I kept her since she was a OB GYN! At 22 weeks i was complaining about cramps and she didnt listen. I seen her on a friday and on saturday I was in labor at 24weeks! she never prescribed meds to stop contractions, i ened up in the hosptial for 7 weeks and delivered at 31! all this could have been prevented if she just listened instead of telling me that this was my first! more

Could Not Ask For More 4/17/2008

I LOVED Dr. Rodier and her entire staff. I transferred to her at 5 months pregnany because I was unhappy with the care I was receiving at my other doctor. I found her to be thorough and terribly cautious. If at any time she had a doubt about something, she immediately ordered a test or sent me for testing. Rhonda, the nurse, always returned my questions (phone calls) promptly. Even though I was paranoid and crazy sometimes, she never treated me as such. The ladies in the office even remembered my husband's name and my eight year old daughter's name, even though they only made the visits a few times! I love this place and will not leave. more

Slow to notice me 9/9/2005

I started seeing Dr. Rodier at the age of 30. I was beginning to be concerned because my husband and I had been trying to conceive for a year without success. Dr. Rodier told me she'd treated many women with fertility issues and she'd had several patients in their late thirties and even early forties get pregnant. I continued to visit Dr. Rodier for four years before she showed any concern about my infertility. She kept telling me her older-women success stories and reassuring me that we'd figure things out. She tested me for problems at a very, very slow pace. Suddenly during a visit she said, "How old are you?" When I replied "34", it was as if she'd never paid attention to my birthdate before. I know that I'm partly responsible because I didn't push hard for quicker testing, but in my defense I was 1) afraid something would be unfixable and I almost didn't want to know it, and 2) I believed that Dr. Rodier knew about the pace of things and had it all under control. Now I believe she just wasn't paying much attention to me. Maybe she has too many patients. (I had a baby at 35 after visiting the Nashville Fertility Clinic.) more
