i just read the poor review regarding dr giraldo and as a patient of five years i find it incredulous.dr giraldo is a fine dentist who treats all of her patients with professionalism and expertise.she is kind and understanding and i have never encountered any problems either with her work(of which i have had alot) or with the expenses.one only has to visit once to become a lifelong patient.listen you get what you pay for! she is an outstanding dentist who i refer friends and family too..i put my trust in dr giraldo.you can too... more

Please look at the dates of the last reviews! All of them are written after the first review, all of them on January 20-21, 2012, after Mrs. Giraldo found my bad review. All of them have ridiculous headings: ""The perfect dentist"", ""The wonderful dentist""...What a MASCARADE! Can't you see that those are false? Can't you see that they are just trying to contradict my review?\r Mrs. Giraldo called my lawyer on January 20 to ask him to convince me to delete my review; he explained to her that my story is real and she has the responsibility of paying for the broken crown-but she refuses to take any responsibility. She never returned his calls or mine when we called in November and informed her about my situation created by her poor quality work and cheap materials used in order to increase her profits!\r I am a single mother with 2 teenagers in College and I was ripped off by this incompetent and unprofesional dentist!\r Please read my review and protect yourself from these bad experiences, avoid these types of so-called professionals who are only after your money and refuse any responsibilty, lacking care and compasssion.\r I have a broken crown, she got my money and she ignores my pleas and my calls ; she just turned her back the minute I paid; her staff is rude, and all I got was her staff hanging up on me and calling security to throw me out from the office.\r I hope my story can spare other people aggravation, save some money and get quality work done for the right price-but NOT with Doris Giraldo! more

I absolutely love Dr. Doris. I was referred to her by a friend about a month ago and am going for my second visit tomorrow. She will definitely be my dentist from now on! Her office her very clean, professional, warm, and friendly. She did a couple of fillings on me. The needle didn't hurt because she was very gentle. Then she used some special machine to drill my tooth. I think she said it was called the laser. Well whatever it is, it was amazing because I hate all of that drilling. I was even watching a movie during the whole process. I am so happy to have finally found a dentist that doesn't terrify me to death. Trust me everybody-you wont regret it! more

Dr Doris Giraldo has been my Dentist for many years, I am extremely happy with her, she is very professional, has the latest technology. My dental work is excellent, my friends a colleagues admire my teeth. I have referred around 20 people to her. Her fees, comparable with other Dentist I have researched, are very reasonables. I moved to NYC about 2 years ago and needed a Dentist, a friend recommended me Dr Giraldo's office, from the moment i step into the office i felt that was the right place for me, her team is amazing they all make you feel comfortable and relax, relaxing music or netflix, pillows and blankets are among the things they offered me to pamper me. Dr. Giraldo answer all my questions and explained me every procedure, she is an amazing Doctor and such a great person, i absolutely love her, and i am very thankfull to my friend who send me there. more

Dr Giraldo has been my dentist for about 15 years! I absolutely love her because of her passion and care for all of her patients! Her work is beautiful and painless, her staff is lovely, and her office is so up to date with technology. Throughout these years I have referred so many of my co-workers, friends, and family to her and they have all thanked me for it because you just cannot compare any experience in a doctor's office to an experience at hers. Her office can be compared to a ""dental spa"" because she makes you feel so relaxed no matter what procedure you are doing. My teeth are healthy and my smile is beautiful because of my beautiful and caring dentist-Dr Doris Giraldo is #1! more

I paid her $7,000.00 ($4,000.00 me and $3,000.00 my insurance) for an implant , one cleaning, xrays and 2 fillings. After I finished she charged my insurance $1,500.00 - she was paid 50%-for a crown (one tooth)that she did not do in 2009. Now, the old crown broke and the insurance will not pay for it (legitimate) because she claimed and got paid for the same crown two years ago. I asked her to reimburse me in order to pay for the crown because I can not eat and she refuses. First, she called me in the office to get the money and when I went, her people called the security to take me out from the office. \r I am not happy with any work she did and she is way overcharging!!! Stay away!! more
