Saved my Day! Thanks Dr Cell Phone 7/6/2011

They saved the day! 11.30am iphone shattered, screen completely cracked from top to bottom in tree/branches shapes. Could still turn on so it looked like just the screen was damaged. Called them at 3pm (no walkin) At 4.15pm I got to their place (it's a condo but easy parking) I spent 30mns at the mall next door At 445pm my phone was just like new! All functions OK! Cannot express how good the service is. And don't let the fact that they run the shop from a condo fool you. It is great work and they accept all major credit cards (incl American Express) Once again.. they saved the day! more

This past Friday, was in a meeting...and luck would have it, phone dropped and the crack took over the whole screen, none of the touch sensors work. What to do, what to do. I first called Friday, to setup an appt. on that following Monday, but my schedule for Sunday allowed me to bring it by on Sunday. And by Sunday night, the screen was replaced and the phone was looking/working great. Not many places out there where they are a five star rating and everything that was written was 100% true, but this is one of them places. Am glad/happy that they could turn this around as quickly as they did. So to everyone out there....if you need a screen replaced, give em a call. more

Worst Experience Ever! 3/15/2011

I recently did business with this business and am very upset with the results. I went by on a Friday morning at around 11am to have to cracked glass on my MacBook Pro repaired. The gentleman who took my order was very friendly and quoted me a time between 2 and 3pm. I showed up right before 3 and discovered that my computer was not yet fixed. The man who was in charge of the repair then told me that it would be done right before they closed, it was a delicate process and needed time, he said to come back then. At 6:30, or 30 minutes past closing the repair man informed me that he messed up the camera in the process of fixing it and if I did not use it would that be ok? Naturally it was not, I spent a lot of money on my computer and could not have it returned to me defective. I asked him to please show me the nature of the problem, he opened a program that required an external camera to operate and since there was no external camera the program naturally did not work. I then showed him photobooth and we discovered that the camera works perfectly, rather the problem layed with the lens, it partially obscured the camera. It turned out that he had put a defective product on the computer, he had been struggling with it for 3 hours trying to get it to work, and it took me 5 minutes to use the correct program and identify the problem. At this point I was quite astounded that a professional did not know how to use a basic mac program! \r The repair man now empowered with the knowledge of the problem told me he would have my problem fixed tomorrow. The next day the tech said that the new part he received was defective as well! This continued on for a week, where the tech put on one defective product after another. He had little to say about the quality of products they use on their repairs when asked.\r After 11 days my computer was finally fixed but the manger refused to give me her services free. She said they can not be held responsible for the defective products and that there tech could not be expected to know everything (or rather anything) about macs. She was rude and she uncaring. I expected an establishmet that emboided the term professionalism, in name, knowledge, and accountability but instead received a businss that was professional by name only.\r Good Luck if you ever use their services, you will need it. more
