I was just in the restaurant over the weekend and was sitting at the table and suddenly got wet, I felt a splash of water, to find out it came from the overhead duct system. A big drop of water splashed on the table right where a plate would have been if I had sat at the seat next to me instead of against the wall. It was a four person table. We asked to speak with the manager and explained to him to make him aware. He said it happens all the time. The huge window in the front is open for the open air feeling, but the people in the back of the restaurant get hot so they leave the air conditoning on which causing the condensation. Well it seems to me, you can't have the best of both worlds. If that had fallen in my food, you would have had to replace it or I wouldn't have paid for it. He said there was nothing that could be done. I cannot believe that you can't insulate the duct system or put some type of drip pan from the wall being the duct systems run along the wall. If that can't be done, I see no other option than to either have that big window open or to close it and have the air on. I think it is extremelly unsanitary and disgusting that you could have this going on and just shrug it off as it is nothing. If I was still eating you would have paid for my food.
