Double Duds 9/13/2012

The owner was very charismatic and suggested we should extend our reception by 1 hour. We really liked him and paid him an extra $100 and our reception center an extra $200 to stay open. He did not DJ the wedding but sent two guys who turned out to be DUDs. They were wallflowers and did NOT interact with the crowd. We ended up not needing the extra hour because most folks were not entertained and left. After the wedding I complained but the owner did not apologize nor did he refund for that extra hour. Would NOT recommend! The whole point of Double Trouble was to get 2 DJs that would interact and have a great time with the crowd. Find an amateur DJ for $500 and have a far better time! more

Double Trouble was a nightmare 11/14/2006

I would not recommend Double Trouble Disc Jockey in Harrisburg. They showed up 6 hours late to our wedding reception. They were supposed to set up at 11:00 am and showed up at 5:00. The owner told me and my husband that it was our fault and began to yell at us. He then took 2 hours to set up all his equipment and did not follow the format we gave him when he started playing music. The format was written beforehand and was given to him prior to the wedding. He did not play a song that my godfather was supposed to sing. The owner threw a shoe into a crowd of people dancing to get thier attention. He was out of control, very rude, very unprofessional. It was pretty much a nightmare and they ruined my wedding day. more
