I've been going to Dorit Baxters for about 4 years now and I'm still in love with it. My husband and I just recently got married and had a couples day there and it was wonderful. This a place for everyone. I've introduced Dorit Baxter to all of my family and friends. more

My sister introduced me to Dorit Baxter as a birthday gift 2 years ago and it's been my favorite ever since. That was my first time at a spa but it wasn't my first time getting a facial. It was love at first sight. I got the sea salt scrub, which is phenomenal. A facial (which I only get done at Dorit Baxter now), and a one hour body massage. I left the spa so relaxed that I didn't do anything for the rest of the day. Lol. Not only do I love Dorit Baxter, but their facial products are the only ones that have worked best for my skin. Thank You, Dorit Baxter for your services. I actually have an appointment this Saturday :-) more

I really enjoyed my experience here! They were accomadating to my schedule and even had the products that they used on me for sale at the front desk...I plan on going back to purchase them and get another treat for myself! I found thembecause of SpaWeek WHICH they participate in $50 facial YES MA'AM!! so I called them at 10am and had an appt and was in the spa getting started at 11am PERFECT, I cant always plan ahead of time so it was great for me. Also I upgraded my facial to get a hydrating mask just in time for the dry cold season and my skin feels great, it felt weird at first but once ya got used to it, its pretty sweet and relaxing! Look for my reviews once I give their products a try, I may also try a body wrap for the first time ever, that could be an interesting review to read haha!! more

I went to Dorit Baxter for a Full Day Chill out. I was so pleasantly surprised and left feeling like I was born yesterday. I had no waiting time at all! From one service to the next like they were all waiting for me. My day started with a 2 hour intense workout at 6:00 am at my gym and then I gave myself this treat of the full day spa. My first treatment was a facial which left my skin so vibrant and then a great manicure and pedicure with a salt scrub. Lunch on the house, I ordered a grilled salmon and mash potatoes for lunch...yum. Lemon ice water and a cookie to wash it down..ok maybe 2 cookies:). The second half of my day included a one hour massage, detoxifying herbal body wrap and body salt scrub...what a dream. I left dizzy from feeling so good. It was a day full of mind, body and soul just for me. I am a mother of 2 small princesses and never really do anything like this. With a window of opportunity I took it and ran! more

Dorit Baxter spa is not only gorgeous but it has great prices and the best services in Manhattan. I have gotten more than 3 massages here and they have all been outstanding. it is a must go-to and you will not regret it! more

I have been going to spas/doctors/laser surgeons for years to try and fix my skin and after spending thousands I have found that the Dorit Baxter deep cleansing facial is more beneficial and less costly than any remedies i have tried before. The service is incredibly accomodating and even go out of there way to suggest nutrition and lifestlye tips to help you improve your life. I went to Dorit Baxter the first time because I had read rave reviews online. The reviews were right!! Dorit Baxter has class and elegance, but the focus is not on the extras but on the actual service and products rather than the extravagant "spa experience". I have had trouble with my skin for decades and going to dorit baxter once a month is far cheaper than the doctors and laser surgeries that I have had in the past PLUS it is more effective!! I recommend Dorit Baxter to everyone who is looking for a world class massage and facial for a good price. more

Dorit Baxter Day Spa has been in buisness for almost 20 years. I live in Brooklyn which is up and comming but I always find myself back on 57th street getting that well deserved facial and massage. At times like this I dont want to experiment so I stick to what I know is great service. Their camphor mask and deep pore cleanser is a must for my facial regiment. more

I planned a Girls Day at Dorit Baxter. They accommodated 6 girls for a facial and massage for a great deal. The staff was very friendly and the services are amazing. Each of us had a great experience and had no complaints (really). We all raved about how each of our massage therapist and facial person was very informative (as they should be), honest, and knew off hand where to concentrate just from the look of our posture and facial texture. We all came out relaxed and looking beautiful. To top it all off, we had coffee and tea w/ cookies in their lounge area. We definitely intend on returning. Not only are the services great, but the products too. We certainly did not leave empty handed and plan to have another girls day there. Who knows the next time we'll include a pedicure and manicure to make it a complete makeover. more

I had one of the spa packages that included a manicure, paraffin wrap, facial and sea salt scrup. Let me just first say that the sea salt scrub was amazing. It was by far one of the most relaxing and professional spas I had ever gone to. I would also say that they are a bit cheaper than other spas out there. Now mind you, you will be sending a couple hundred bucks there but it's worth every minute and every penny! The only thing I think they could improve upon is the time delay between services. I am not one of those people who likes to sit around for hours in a robe... i like to get my stuff done, relax and go home. So, if you do come for a spa service, know that you are going to be there for a long while... practically the whole day. But trust me, it is definitely worth it! I love the place and can't wait to go back. more
