Best Fishing in FL. I took my husband for his first time ever and he had an absolute blast. The Crew was friendly and outgoing. The prices for a full day of fishing was great! and the Pricing for food and beer was great. You can take your own cooler on board if you like. But all you need is yourself and a bit of cash and your ID if you want to drink! Next time we come down we won't think about using another charter. It was a rough day at sea when we went but the crew made it a very memorable one just the same and did their absolute best to help us out and make us all comfortable. Not too mention the talented captain looks young but has been boating since age 9! He was Outstanding! Can't wait to go again with this crew! more

Great Fishing Trip 4/2/2012

One reviewer was complaining about catching only ""Grunts"" which he called, ""bait fish"". Grunts are actually Gray Snapper-Lutjanus griseus and fried, broiled, grilled, steamed, or any other way, are delicious. My cousin and I have caught as many as seventy of these delicious snappers on a two george trip and had a fish feast fit for a king. Just remember, there are a lot of good fish to eat out of the Gulf besides grouper and when the gag season opens in July it may get crowed out there so now is the time to go fishing. more

Best boat in Florida two georges 11/9/2011

I have fished with this Excellent crew several times now. I have fished most of the West coast boats, and by far the two georges of Tarpon Springs Florida is the best. In my opinion. The crew is a Family orientated experience. if you can't get that fish in, they will go over and beyond to help you. The boat is FAST! Clean, and well maintained. Capt. Jessy, and his prodigy son Jessy Jr. Will work so hard to get you fish, they walk around making sure your gear, bait , tackle is in order. Tips galore to help you. The Mates Chris, Mike, And ole man George will make fun, and keep spirits up. Constantly helping you. The food is off the hook! And you can bring your own beer!..lol If you can't catch fish on this Boat, You need to take up Golf. So much fun. Two Georges Deepsea fishing. com is where it is at in Florida. more

What a great trip! 8/7/2011

My husband, son and I went out on the Two George's boat this weekend and had a fantastic time. The deckhands (I think their names were Darren and Cody) were absolutely great! They were always right there to help with anything we needed, and with me fishing for the first time they had their hands full! On our way out Darren talked to me about the rods, how to use them, etc... and whenever I managed to mess it up he was always right there to get me back on track! They were always busy with all the guests on the boat but always smiling and having fun. There were also so some very experienced fisherman on the trip, including one from the Miss Virginia boat who was quick with a helping hand and helpful tips and information! All around the entire experience was great. We will definitely go back! more

should have called it a grunt trip, not grouper 12/25/2010

Me and some friends decided to try the two georges so called grouper trip on dec 22 . All i can say is great job for getting people to believe that catching and eating a baitfish is better than snapper. This should have been named the grunt boat trip because as soon as the grouper bite was on they would crank up and leave to another spot, and just kept repeating the process until the day was over. The equipment they had you use was as old as the boat but the boat i must say was in alot better shape. It was a brand name but just flat wore out. Two of the poles that were giving to us had tangled line in the reel, so spent 10 minutes of the 15 at the spot fixing it.I would recommend a private charter over these big boat charters that charge you to go out and catch a baitfish and call it a game fish. Also the trip was sponsored by the tackle shop at oldsmar fleamarket and the guy they sent to represent the company , i believe was roger, was constantly bad talking other guests under his breath but loud enough for others close to hear him. Would i do a trip like this again? most definitely not. They have made all the rumors i have heard a reality . more

Tried the boat and LOVED it! 7/15/2008

I have recently become a fisherman on the Dolphin. It has been operating since 1947, I read the captain drove for two hours?.THIS IS AN EIGHTY-FIVE foot boat. ( expensive). If any of you have a boat, I am sure you realize for sixty dollars you can?t get too far. Well, I have fished the Gulf many times on party boats.Anyone who knows about fishing knows that a captain is NOT happy catching SHORT grouper, they don?t cross the dock. A captain willing to move and look for fish is an excellent captain. Deckhands DO throw pinfish overboard at the end of the day. To-go boxes for fish are usually provided at restaurants, not fishing boats. So as I said, I had to try the boat. I also found the former employee, based on the captain, is indeed a good captain. He has no problem with this flagging competitor, other than the fact that the trademark name of the business is being used. I noticed horrible spelling and grammatical errors. I don?t by live bait, I buy it. One might ask myself, not my self. One would READ reviews, not rear them There is no such thing as a pin fish, it is a pinfish. . A captain would fish more THAN move not then, as in past tense. The words ""were aloud"" indicates loud noises and not permission as in ?we?re allowed?. Sounds like you are a joy to fish with as well. Explain your motives about throwing my dead pinfish away. Perhaps they SMELL, they are DEAD? Good for you Dolphin on ridding yourself of an illiterate, ignorant customer. Pros: excellent service, inexpensive, relaxing, comfortable, nature-filled Cons: warm in the summer, but air-conditioned cabin more

A bad day of fishing 6/2/2008

I called ahead to inquire about a day aboard. The information on bait and tackle was helpful. I was told we could by live bait. But they provide cut bait and all tackle needed for the day. I was also told that when we drove into town to ignore the people trying to flag us down to fish on a different boat for the day. I was informed that this competitor was a former disgruntled employee and was trying to get customer on his boat. Pros: Large boat with plenty of room to move around. Cons: Unproffesional captain and crew. more
