If you are looking for the slick, corporate, air-conditioned glossy daycare solution for your perfect pet, this is not the daycare for you. But if you are looking for a personal, caring and very down-to-earth place, you may find your daycare here. My 4 year old Border Collie has been going to Doglogic ever since she was a small puppy. This place is not fancy (it looks quite rough around the edges), but frankly I have never found a better daycare. They are welcoming to some dogs whom other daycares might reject for some reason or other (non-neutered, for example). The reason for this is that the owner (Jamie Benton) is a long-time professional whose specialty has been to evaluate and rehab dogs who are problem cases in shelter and home settings. This means he has a high degree of understanding and expertise with dogs whom others reject as un-workable or problematic. This also means that his rules and boundaries for the dogs are extremely clear and reasoned, understood by all of them, but simple and with enough room for learning success for those who are not perfect. And always, with safety being a very serious high priority. I attended their basic training and socialization classes multiple times with and without my dog and gotten a huge amount out of them. If you have any questions about what to read, study, watch or go to to learn about everything dog and how to care for/teach/train your dog or troubleshoot any behavior issue using positive methods, Jamie is the one to ask. He works with rescues of all kinds. He trains dogs and people for service in the community with non-judgemental style and loads of insight. Having a border collie requires a huge commitment to take responsibility for a creature whose main desire is to work and learn at all times. Getting to know the folks at Doglogic has been a HUGE help to me, a growing experience for me and my dog. If you are open-minded and willing to look past snap appearances to learn from the best, I say give them a try. more

I would recommend somewhere else. 5/7/2013

I have taken my dog to doglogic twice. The facility isn't the nicest, but both times I went it was clean & there wasn't a smell. It is very disorganized; no real check in or check out process (when I picked up my dog this time, the lady didn't even know my dog had been there 2 nights). My dog hasn't had any behavior issues or anything. The first time I brought her home, she did have some diarrhea but my dog is notoriously for eating random things off the ground so I didn't think much about it. This time, I picked her up yesterday, and she now has what I am assuming is pink eye (I'm taking her to the vet this afternoon.) I'm highly disappointed that both times I have taken her, she seems sick and since this time it has escalated to something worse than a upset stomach I am positive I'd never take her back there again. more

No way would i EVER take my pet there 8/16/2012

I was going to board my dogs there because of reasonable prices. As soon as i walked in. I couldnt believe the horrendous conditions. They actually have no crates and all of the dogs sleep together on the concrete floor. They seperate dogs that dont fit in to the "pack" in rooms with solid doors and no windows. The man who was working there was very evasive when i asked him questions about the place and avoided showing areas or the place. They advertise safety. Impossible for that place. I was shocked at the lack of attention put into this play place. I have a few dogs and would have been afraid for them if i left them. Additionally, i didnt see water out and if u have special needs for feeding your dogs like limited ingrediant diets, theres no way i could see that being refulated there. I feel strongly about saying that if you care at all about your dog. Do not take them to doglogic. I never write reviews about places so please dont just drop your dog off and leave without checking tje place out, the place is a mess. Any trainer or vet that works with them should be ashamed of themselves for not doing more to care for the animals that they are paid to help. Any real place that cares about your dogs interests would not have such low standards. Please investigate this place before u go. more

I have been taking my Yorkie there for a year now despite the negative posts by the above listed people. I have had no problems. As for you two, get a life, I have seen your posts all over the internet and getting tired of it. more
