Doggie Style

All they did was complain about my dog. Never had any groomer before say anything but good about my very well trained dog. They said they clipped the toenails, then my dog developed an infection in the toenail. They were rude and my dog acted weird and traumatized when I picked her up. DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG HERE! more

We took our cocker spaniel to Doggy Style and had a great experience. He just gets a short clip, nothing fancy, an all-over buzz cut pretty much. The second time I tried to make an appointment, they were closed and on vacation for what seemed like a month. After that, I tried to make an appointment, the guy said "hold on a sec", put the phone down and NEVER came back. I think he totally forgot about me. I could hear him in the back ground chatting with someone, but totally forgot about me and I finally hung up. When we were finally able to make an appointment, we said we would pick him up after work and they said that was fine (it was 5:00 p.m. - the latest you can pick up your dog before they close which is kind of inconvenient for those that work full time but whatever). I got a confirmation the day before, and everything was still fine. Well, when my boyfriend drops him off that morning, he's told that they are closing the doors at 2 so we HAD to pick him up before that. They are supposed to be open until 5 but suddenly decided to close early that day. Grrrr. I had to find a ride (fortunately I wasn't working that day, but no car) to go and get my dog. When I got there, I paid and they brought my dog out, who was promptly goaded into a fight by the resident loose dog they have there. No one seemed in too much of a hurry to separate them, and when they did, I rushed my dog out to get him away. Wasn't till after that that I noticed, he basically got a wash but no haircut. They cut the fur around his eyes, and that's it. Not at ALL what we asked for. Since my ride was waiting, we had to go, but I called them later and left a message telling them I was disappointed. Someone called the next day, left a message on our voice mail saying that if we bring him in, they'll groom him. That's it - no apology, no offer to do it free of charge - nothing. They screwed up, but didn't care. We will not be taking them up on there offer to bring him back, and WILL be looking for another groomer. It's too bad too, because the first time we went there, I would have HIGHLY recommended them! more

We have a very fluffy dog who molts twice a year. Although, I hate to pay their prices they guarantee no dead hair when they are done with her, and they mean it. (They blow her out twice!) Compared to other places where she actually sheds more after being clean with Doggie Style our house is hair free for at least a couple days more
