Upon our arrival ,we were seated and waited patienly for our server. The atmosphere is quaint , like a swamp shack in the bayou. We then hear the Asst. Mgr. tell the hostess that she wasn't supposed to sit us in that area and that we would have to move. (Should've left then) We move to another table where we wait again for our server . She takes my order, 1 fried catfish fillet and 1 ""grilled"", I apologize and ask to change the grilled to ""blackened"". When my order arrives I get 1 blackened fillet and 1 grilled. I inform her this isn't what I ordered and requested a fried fillet. She returns and informs me that the Asst. Mgr. said once my order was placed I could not change it. They were unwilling to correct their own mistake! What happened to the customer is always right? Although I love the food @ Dixie Kitchen and have frequented both the Lansing and Hyde Park locations, I'll never go again. If you want good food and bad service, this is your spot!!!
