Absolutely terrible! Deceptive 6/11/2012

Absolutely terrible! Deceptive customer service (if you can even call it that), I was months without working phones and they just kept promising that oh yes, we see the problem, we'll get that fixed right away. Then oh yes, we just mailed out a new box for your phone. All lies. Finally I cancelled after several months of that (in February) and they are still trying to charge my credit card in June after letters, emails, phone calls. You can't get through to anyone above the unscrupulous ""customer service"" people, and it's just a horrid experience! more

Absolutely the worst company I have ever dealt with 6/9/2011

I will bet my life that the one good review here is from an employee. Who updates company contact info in a review? That review is just as fake as the so-called service they provide. Terrible service, too slow to even watch a thirty second YouTube video, and smug customer service people who will try to blame the slow speeds on your equipment. They need to be reported to the internet police. I wish I could give them negative stars. If the gas company worked like digis, we would all freeze solid in the winter! And they would still bill you! more

Hard to believe- the WORST experience with a company ever! 3/7/2011

I never write reviews but I am writing this in hopes to save other people from the nightmare that is Digis Networks. We switched to save money, but it has taken us 3 1/2 months, yes MONTHS, to port our home number. In the meantime we have had to keep paying our old company to keep our number. Digis told us that it would take 20-30 days. In addition, they wanted to charge us a monthly fee for our home phone, even though they have screwed up porting it for 3 1/2 months. I had to fight with them on that. more

Its no good! 6/11/2010

Digis is a company that hides what you're getting into until you experience it. They simply suck. The internet they provide is cheap but you will find out why later on. If you ever watch any movies or music over the internet, this company definitely isn't for you. They set low monthly limits of downloads so at the end (or even to the middle) of the month, your internet goes ridiculously slow. I had to end up upgrading to the 12 mpbs plan which offered a higher download limit. It not only couldn't reach its promising speed of the plan, but slowed down drastically. Probably because of my occasional Netflix movies streaming. I could hardly contact them to ask them what was going on, because their phones are always busy! If you don't want a service that sets daily and monthly limits on how much you can do with your internet, pick just about any company besides Digis. Cons: Daily and monthly download limits, poor customer service more

Terrible customer service, speeds not as advertised 9/15/2007

For our first year of service, Digis was fine. Our speeds were okay at about 1Mbps down, but not fantastic. After the first year, things started to go bad. We had to reset constantly (go down to the basement, unplug it, wait 20 seconds, plug it back in) at least weekly and sometimes several times a day. We made several service calls where we would get helpful suggestions like ""try unplugging your router."" We don't have a router. After several months of this, they finally upgraded our equipment to a canopy and charged us $5 a month more for ""Ultra High-Speed Internet,"" which meant that we ought to be getting up to 5Mbps down. Instead, we were getting 500k. Another service call revealed that they were throttling our speeds because we were exceeding our 12 Gigs of transfer a month. When I argued that that was impossible, the tech's helpful suggestion was, ""Do you have teenagers at home?"" Uh, no. Then he said we probably had a virus. I had just run a virus scan the day before and it came up clean. Besides which, we have a Mac, so it's rare to get viruses at all. Before the end of the day, I canceled our service and signed up with Rapidwave. Now we're getting 6-8Mbps and couldn't be happier! Pros: None that I can think of Cons: Slow speeds, terrible customer service more
