For almost 10 years Don has found a fertile field in computer Aided Drawing, or CAD. The days when architects used a mechanical pencil, drawing board and T-square are over. Computerized drawing is the requirement. Hand drawing is still used to record a building's foot print and dimensions during an architectural survey. During these lean months of high unemployment, Don still has several return customers who seek physical upgrading to their existing buildings.
One of his steady clients, a Mental Wellness Center in Philadelphia has a need for new office spaces with required Occupancy Permits and Building permits for a unique design of partition walls, emergency egresses and ramps. Every design professional needs a steady client account with a plan of expansion and this has kept Don active.
