I was disgusted by this daycare and am really surprised it hasn't been shut down. I had to pick up my 8 month old niece and it was my first time visiting that facility. She had a runny nose so they needed to send her home. When I first got there, some cranky lady just looked up and said ""yeah?"" and I told her that I was there to pick up my niece and I had my I.D. out and ready to show her (my brother told me I would need it) and she didn't even care to look at it. She told me to just ""go on in and get her"". So I went in by myself, nobody came with me to make sure I didn't run off with someone else's kid too. So I'm wandering around trying to find my niece. There was one kid on the floor biting his own arm, another kid was lying on the floor licking the carpet trying to eat crumbs from a smashed cracker, and there were crying babies in swings with empty bottles propped in their mouths. No niece in sight. I ask the lady where she is and she looks at me like I'm being an inconvience and she begins to look for her. Low and behold after 5 minutes of looking for her, she finds her in her carseat behind a crib, I get her and look at her and she's whimpering and has the puffiest eyes I had ever seen. She was basically just left in the corner of the room to cry. Her nose was running all over the place and had never been wiped and she had a piece of food in one hand and a tiny lego in the other (choking hazard!) She also smelled like urine. I asked the lady if she's been changed recently and I found out that they never even took her out of her carseat ""because she's sick and contagious"". Well, obviously someone's been near her because she has food and lego's in her hands! So at this point she had been sitting in her carseat for a total of 4 and half hours and never got her nose wiped or her diaper changed once. I was so appalled, that I took her out of there and gave my brother an earful. He never took her back there and we've been steering people away from this place.
Pros: None.
Cons: Staff, unsanitary, no supervision...
