Would not go there again 11/15/2013

you have the chance to elect any other insurance, do so. This is not a place I would go to again. My first visit there they took Xrays and told me what needed to be done. I was sent to their endodontist to have a root canal and when he looked at my Xrays he couldn't believe that they didn't even find a tooth that was totally rotted under the crown and would need to be pulled. I made an appt to have the tooth pulled. I was very nervous as I hate the pain of dental procedures. The dentist prescribed me diazapam to take before hand so I would be a little calmer. I went to the appt and waited quite a while. I was put into the chair and signed the form to give permission to have the tooth pulled and was ready to have it done. A bit later, they came into the room and told me they would have to reschedule because the gal at the front desk forgot to have me sign a release and they wouldn't let me do so because I had already taken the diazapam. I said I was quite capable of signing it at that time (I barely felt any effects of the drug). They wouldn't allow it and wouldn't do it. Needless to say I was angry and will never go back there again. Fortunately, I do have the choice at my work to choose another insurance that allows me to go to a dentist of my choice. The reason I took the insurance through Dental Associates in the first place was because they don't have the $25 deductible and they paid a higher percentage for their service. What I didn't know at that time was that their prices were so much more than most other places so there really wasn't a savings anyway. Some of the staff was very nice but some weren't. You see different people all the time. In 2 years I had 3 different dentists. The procedures are done in open cubicles so anyone that walks by can see you being worked on. Since I have talked to other people I have found that many that have used their service would never go back. They weren't satisfied with the quality of the work done among other negative comments. more

Convenient 12/18/2012

They are a very large dental office, but for a family of 5, we appreciate it! Their hours are very convenient, making it easy to schedule around our busy lives. The offer affordable co-insurance, keeping it super affordable. My only issue is the waiting time before getting our children back to see the pediatric dentist, sometimes we wait for over 1/2 hour, which is tricky with a 2 year old. The staff is great & they do a really good job with our kids!!! more

large practice 10/28/2005

This practice is very large and you typically will not see the same dentist twice. They do have you see the same dental hygienist every time you come in for a cleaning. If you need quality care at a very reasonable price this could be a good alternative. I would suggest that if you want to see the same dentist every time and have a more personal relationship, this practice is not for you. more
