Delilah's Pet Shop

When I went to college at IU couple years back, I used to always go to Delilah's to play with puppies. I'm so happy to hear that Delilah is still doing well! I bought my first puppy there, a cute pom baby (who turned out 16lbs so not your typical pom), and she's sitting on my lap right now- 5 years old girl. =) I'm happy with all the service Delilah's gave me, and always thank Deilah's for giving me a chance to meet my beautiful companion. =P Although it does not bother me AT ALL right now, I seriously doubt that my baby is a pure pom. >,< That's okay, she's all healthy and very lovable. I also bought a beagle from there too- and he was a cutie... (gave him away) I will recommend Delilah's to anyone-! more

I bought three Mollies (fish) from Delilahs and was assured they would not harm my African Dwarf frog. They ate the frog overnight. The customer service rep. kept saying again and again how he couldn't believe it. Then one Molly proceeded to attack and maime the other fish as well. I called the store and was assured I could return the fish. When I went to return the fish (one now missing a fin), I was told I could only have back what "Delilahs paid for the fish". Which in one case meant, $2 for a $6.19 Molly. I should have gotten back about $12, but instead left with $4. PROS: Good place for dog food CONS: Customer service is lacking on a policy level in the fish dept. more

Delilah's came highly recommended by many Bloomington residents and yet I was still amazed at how great the groomers were (they actually play with and get to know your pet). I was also amazed at how knowledgeable and forthcoming Karen was (she helped me pick out a great food for my new companion). Above all, Karen and the rest of the staff listened to me and my concerns. They were gentle and caring each moment. My dog doesn't necessarily like getting into the car or going anywhere in particular, but he is always excited and happy once he has been playing. He almost seems like he likes being there more than he wants to come home. All-in-all Delilah's is a great all-around pet-needs store. PROS: Knowledgeable and attentive. CONS: more

If you are a parent you know how sad it is to take your child into a petstore where they can't touch or hold anything. Delilah"s is the exact opposite. I don't worry about any of the puppies there being sad or attention deprived! They have a whole big puppy room and the staff encourages petting, holding and romping on the floor. It can be a bit of a free for all, so supervision is called for for small children, but it sure is fun. Delilah herself (a giant St Bernard) is usually hanging around also and likes a good petting. They have a great selection of fish also. more

delilahs is a cool pet store. It stinks like nothing you could imagine when you first walk in, but you get used to it pretty quick. Delilah is a huge St Bernard and she is always just chillin. They have a whole puppy room where you can pet and play with any puppy with no sales pressure from anyone. Usually pet shops make me sad for the animals living there, but this one is an exception. Even the cats seem happy. more
