I was one of Dr. Delcambre's first patients when she opened her practice in Austin. She has always been very kind, intelligent and very hands on with her patients - She did the exam, blood draw, program education, answered my questions and the follow up visits herself instead of giving staff members the duty. I always felt very well cared for with her. I have no problems recommending her to all my friends and family. more

I went to Dr. Delcambre back in the late 90's. She was preoccupied on the phone while giving a blood test and hit a nerve in my arm. I have permanent nerve damage from that blood test. If I try to carry something on that arm, I get a stabbing pain down that nerve. I should have sued her. more

The service at this clinic was great! Dr. Delcambre was nice and helpful. She explained everything in detail. I was very happy with losing 63 pounds. She returned my phone calls and I felt like she was very thorough with lab work and my examinations. more

I tried the Medifast diet in the 80s and it worked great. So I went to see Dr. Delcambre since I heard she was using it. After the first couple of weeks, I got home with my product and found generic protein type weight loss powder, not Medifast. Assuming that maybe it was better, I tried it. It tasted horrible, couldn't use it. Took it back and told her I wanted Medifast. She weighed me and gave me my sack of product. I just happened to peek into the sack when I was a few blocks away. Sure enough, she gave me the bad stuff again. When I called back, the answering machine told me the office was closed. I never went back. \r \r I've recently discovered the HCG diet and have lost 9.6 pounds in 4 days!!! I had used that diet some 30 years ago and lost 50 pounds in 3 months and kept it off for SEVEN YEARS. I only regained the weight when I quit smoking just after I'd had a hysterectomy. I went back to my HCG doc, but he told me that it was not available. So now that it is once again available, I'm on the HCG shots, a successful program. I plan to lose 116 pounds on this diet . . . oops, I guess I now have only 106.4 pounds to lose. I went in for an initial consult with the understaning that this facility had many programs available to choose from. They in fact only have one which is a Protien-sparing fast program you can do on your own. Very disappointed that I was missled and offered something I would not have been interested in had I known what they offer! Pros: Can't think of any Cons: I do not consider this a ""Diet Plan"" more
