I tried the Medifast diet in the 80s and it worked great. So I went to see Dr. Delcambre since I heard she was using it. After the first couple of weeks, I got home with my product and found generic protein type weight loss powder, not Medifast. Assuming that maybe it was better, I tried it. It tasted horrible, couldn't use it. Took it back and told her I wanted Medifast. She weighed me and gave me my sack of product. I just happened to peek into the sack when I was a few blocks away. Sure enough, she gave me the bad stuff again. When I called back, the answering machine told me the office was closed. I never went back. \r

I've recently discovered the HCG diet and have lost 9.6 pounds in 4 days!!! I had used that diet some 30 years ago and lost 50 pounds in 3 months and kept it off for SEVEN YEARS. I only regained the weight when I quit smoking just after I'd had a hysterectomy. I went back to my HCG doc, but he told me that it was not available. So now that it is once again available, I'm on the HCG shots, a successful program. I plan to lose 116 pounds on this diet . . . oops, I guess I now have only 106.4 pounds to lose. I don't know why Dr. Delcambre does not offer a diet that works so well, but I'm happy I discovered Dr. Miranda.
Pros: Offers Medifast
Cons: Switches to a cheaper preparation
