Do not shop at Del Pueblo Jewelers because they sell low-quality jewelry, they don't accept refunds, and they lie. My boyfriend bought me a diamond ring from Del Pueblo Jeweler...

Do not shop at Del Pueblo Jewelers because they sell low-quality jewelry, they don't accept refunds, and they lie. My boyfriend bought me a diamond ring from Del Pueblo Jewelers because he was convinced by the sales person that he was ""getting a good deal"". They sold him a ring that was supposedly worth $3,500 more than what they were charging him. He was told the ring was ""white gold and the diamond weight was .63"" The first day I wore it, I started to notice that the ""white gold"" band was tuning gray. By taking it off and examining it closely, I was able to see that the whole band had different shades of silver and gray. At this time the diamond itself looked sparkly and nice, but the band was looking horrible. I did a lot of research online and I was not able to find an explanation of why ""white gold"" would turn gray. I suspect that it isn't really gold because the non-gold earrings I buy sometimes stay shiny and silver longer than the ""white gold"" ring from Del Pueblo Jewelers. We went the next day to speak to the manager and we were not allowed to return it because the receipt was stamped ""NO RETURNS"". He said we could only get store value. With the low-quality ring I already had from them, I did not want anything else from their jewelry store. The manager's explanation for the gray ring was that white gold rings are dipped in platinum and sometimes they get contaminated. Again, I researched his explanation online and didn't find anything that backed up his explanation. He said the solution was just to dip it in platinum again. We picked it up later and of course it was shinier, but we were still not satisfied because the ring still had different shades of silver all over the band. Since they have no return policy, we had no other choice but to keep the ring. We decided to go to a professional, recognizable jeweler to switch the diamond to a different white gold band. The professional jeweler inspected the diamond itself and said we had a very good diamond, but then they noticed that the diamond from Del Pueblo Jewelers was chipped from a corner. They also weighed it and discovered that the diamond carat weight of the diamond was not .63 (as Del Pueblo Jewelers had claimed). The actual carat weight of the diamond was less. This was fine, but it means that Del Pueblo Jewelers either lied about this information or they are not knowledgeable enough to know the details about the diamonds they sell. I am very disappointed with Del Pueblo Jewelers at Northridge Mall in Salinas. DO NOT shop at Del Pueblo Jewelers because they sell low-quality jewelry, they lie, are not knowledgeable about the jewelry they sell, plus they do not have a return policy!! more

Their receipt does not state no refund and they refuse to refund my money only one day after purchase. 2/19/2009

I spoke to Ignacio a Manager at the Northridge Facility only one day after purchase asking for a refund. A chain purchased by my mother who is vulnerable was easily persuaded by a sales pitch of a sales lady to purchase a very low quality and not worth the value chain and medal. This objects were very thin and cheap looking. My mother came to my daughters 4 yr old party saying she had purchased something very expensive it was my surprise when I seen the receipt she handed me. I was astonished she would pay 428.84 for that object. I immediately call the very next day of purchase asking for a refund I read the two receipt I had in hand and nowhere in the two receipts does it say no refund. I was told by a worker there would be no refund just credit. If there is no refund they should make it really clear on there receipts. I will make a complain in the Better Business Cons: No refunds no money more
