Deerfield Dermatology Associates

I made an appointment with this dermatologist office because I thought based on the location that I would receive quality care and doctors. Boy was I wrong! Per Deerfield Dermatology staff's recommendation I went in for a full body ""skin check"". This was not the first ""skin check"" I had ever had as I am at high risk for skin cancer because of my fair skin and family history of it. My mom and my sisters combined have had at least 2 dozen confirmed skin cancer spots removed from various parts of their body. So I'm stripped down and wearing a gown for my appointment and one of the doctors comes in and starts taking to me and asking questions about my skin. She opens the gown and has me spin around and she says ""well everything look good"". What a joke!! That is not a ""skin check""!! What a total waste of time and money!!! I promptly found another dermatologist's office (Advanced Dermatology) who knows what they are doing and gave me a very thorough full body ""skin check"". I will never go back to Deerfield Dermatology!! more

I've moved a lot and have been to a number of dermatologists for mole checks and botox. This office is low-key, the treatments are reasonably priced and Dr. Livshots has great technique. The pain is minimal and I've never left bruised or had to go through the ""suprised look"" like I have at the hand of other, more expensive docs. Have recently moved again and will miss this office. Pros: no-hype, good care, quick appointments Cons: not a super-luxury office with lots of products if that's what you're looking for.. more
