I have been receiving bodywork from Julia Smith, CMT, for about 1 year. She uses a variety of bodywork modalities and stretches to address my many problems. I have back, leg, arm and hand issues and she is able to help me. She listens to what I tell her is bothering me, assess my needs and works with me to address the pain and problems. She incorporates education of the client into her sessions and if need be, she will research a particular issue for you and get back to you with her findings. It is not easy to find a good massage therapist who is educated in her profession, can assess your problems, listens to what you are saying and actually truly cares about the outcome. The club's atmosphere has diminished with age. It is in need of tough love to set it right again. Cleaning the lockerrooms more often would be a good start. The squash areas need a makeover. Although there are a lot of nice things about this club, after spending a summer there, I was annoyed by the large numbers of kids running around, taking up lap space in the pool and locker room, and breaking rules meant to make the club a nice place to be for others.
