I had the most terrible experience with Deborah Finn's Jewel. My fiance had given me an antique ring, and I just needed it to be re-sized down one quarter size and for the prongs to be strengthened. I took it to Deborah, and she assured me it was no problem, and she would have it done right away. Two weeks later, it was finally finished and when i went to pick it up, they had butchered it! The diamond was clearly crooked, it was very loose and not even centered! they had added globs of metal to the fine filigree setting, and scratched other parts of the ring. When i brought it to be repaired from her work, they told me that she had cracked the ring down the middle and then soldered it!! the most insulting part of all, is when I pointed this out to Deborah, she said that she couldn't see anything wrong, and it looked fine to her. The stone moved so much you can hear it move every time you move the ring!! She was haughty and condescending and the craftsmanship was appalling. I would never, never recommend, nor will I ever step foot in there again.
