I'd give it negative stars if I could... 10/7/2011

When the wedding gown came in (2 months later than Debi's Bridal said it would and never called to provide status), it did not fit - eventhough my measurements were well within the recommended size by the designer. The saleswoman insisted it fit well (while the back zipper was ready to bust open) and later suggested we let out some material from the seams. NO ONE lets out material from a wedding dress. Big no no. more

Horrible - Horrible - Horrible. Did I say horrible? 2/23/2010

Never in my life have I had to deal with a more incompetent staff in my life. They literally did not get one thing right with my Quinceanera. From the dress, to the date of, to the accessories, or even my Quince doll. The entire experience was comical at best. When I finally just asked for my money back the owner, at least he said he was, just more or less told us - tough!! Pros: Pretty nice dresses. Cons: Anything that requires customer service or common sense. more

Wonderful Experience - Worth Going! 2/6/2010

I experienced both Debis locations (Military drive & San Pedro). Below is my view on both to assist other brides: SW MILITARY DRIVE: My overall impression is this is a busy shop w/ mostly prom & ""Quincera"" dresses. Both times that I went I was the only bride there. Everyone else was picking up a prom or Quinerea dress. However, they DO have several long racks w/ bridal gown in various sizes - very much worth looking through. I found my DREAM DRESS here and I was very happily surprised! Its a new style - couldnt find it anywhere else. You never know what's hiding in a store unless you actually go & see! The sales lady was down to earth & assisted greatly. She helped and did not rush me to select dresses - she was awesome. And a 2nd sales lady was equally courteous when I called the store for further assistance. But keep in mind, everyone is uber busy here & you can feel the busy vibe in the air - so perhaps be prepared for a more a casual bridal search....but there's nothing wrong with that. DEBI'S SAN PEDRO: I ended up here to get my dress altered. This Debis is in a nicer neighborhood, next to a famous ritzy mall - Northstar mall. That alone sets a tone for the store. This is a true bridal store....its bright & open. Most racks are bridal gowns. beautiful. The staff is so professional & most are wearing suits. The seamstress & owner were so classy & sweet. I felt very comfortable leaving my dress here for alterations. Bottom Line: I highly recommend both locations for your bridal search. Pros: dress selections, friendliness of staff more

would not recommend 8/17/2009

their dress sizes are very off. i gave them measurements for a size 8 dress and they sent me a size 16. it couldn't even be altered it was so big. they wouldn't send me a new dress even though they gave me the wrong size. so, now i'm stuck w/a huge dress i can't wear and don't have a dress for the wedding. more

Horrible customer service, save your time and money 10/21/2008

Debi's has horrible customer service and I will advise all I know not to even bother. I ordered a dress to try on through a borrow program (where I pay a fee and they ""borrow"" the dress for me to try on). When I went in for my appointment to try it on, the dress was in horrible shape. It was wrinkled and creased beyond belief. I'm sure this happened in shipping, but I think if I pay to have something brought in, they could at least try to steam out the wrinkles before I come in. And the owner refused to give me more than a sliver of the fabric color swatch sent from the company because despite me paying $60 to see a dress, he claims the swatch was his, not mine. Ok, but at least give me more than a sliver of the 4x5 swatch you now have so I can consider buying the dress I paid to have shipped for me to try on. The manager (I assume that's who he was) was rude and displeasing and I will never give them my business again. Cons: Horrible customer service, management rude more

Poor customer service, pushy sales people 11/30/2006

I went here to try on dresses and was disappointed. The sales people were pushy and quite frankly lazy. Also, there was a story on the news about this place. They refused to return a dress a woman had bought, even though her fiance unexpectedly died 4 months before their wedding. They were the only vendor who refused a return. The owner of the store is a man, and I heard he acted like he could have cared less. Cons: Poor customer service more
