Davids Bridal is a good choice for a bride on a budget. I've had 2 friends get their wedding dresses here and both wound up being helped by a certain lady there (I wish I remembered her name). Friend #1 was told she should consider getting married in a ""baby blue since white, you know, means something"" insinuating my friend should not get married in white because she was not pure. She then kept snapping at the maid of honor for wanting to see other dress choices and told her young niece who was also a bridesmaid to stuff her bra because the dresses were too big in the chest for her ( she was 10 at the time).
Friend #2 went in for a dress and this same lady kept insinuating that she must be a lesbian and was having a lesbian wedding because of the dress she chose (Not that anything is wrong with lesbian weddings, but she was not having one).
I have no idea why this woman is still on staff! My friend said she went over and was ruining another staff member's sale while being rude to her own customer. She's always there too, and now that it's my turn to find a dress, I'm thinking I don't want to deal with this rude woman and may drive across town to another Davids bridal or pay a little more for Alfred Angelo if I can. You'll know her if you get her and if you do I recommend asking for someone else immediately because she will ruin your shopping experience guaranteed!
Pros: Decent prices and sales, convenient
Cons: Certain staff members are very rude
