Dave's Burgers

First of all....let me say that the previous review is sort of rude. You are only suppose to leave one comment! Also, yes...people are human. They made a mistake with your order. You knew what you ordered, but when they only charged you for two burgers and two fries you didn't seem to care. I bet if they undercharged you....you wouldn't have gone back to give them the extra money, would you? YOU asked for the burger to be double wrapped and they thought they were doing a good thing. I'm sorry that it wrecked the lettuce, but come on! The review rules on here clearly states that burger joints shouldn't be held to the same standards as four star restaurants! Although I did think this burger joint makes the best burgers I've eaten in a long time.\r \r I want to give my review: Dave's Burger's is a brand new find of mine. I've been there 3 times. The way they chop the lettuce, and toast the bun is amazing. The sauce is so yummy too. The first time I ordered onion rings and they were very tasty, but too greasy. I wish the burger itself was bigger, since the bun is a bit large, but it's still very tasty. \r \r I can't wait until I try a few more of their menu items. \r \r The microphone to order is a bit older...so....maybe it wouldn't hurt to double check your order. The previous reviewer seemed to have a bit of a fit, but I always check my orders when ever I go through a drive through. They do still have humans working! When they go to 100% robots I'll stop checking. Pros: Yummy and something different Cons: drive through....each car gets served as they come, there can be a bit more of a wait than a normal drive through. more

\r SO! They tried to blame the BURNT EFFECT on ME...(Lame excuse to cover their butts)\r They did admit to the misunderstanding about the number of burgers ordered, and YES, she did think I was ordering for my wife.... But why I asked her then did she ignore my Wife's requests? ... Here is the bottom line.....It was clear they were going home for the night, and they weren't cooking anymore food. She offered me ""coupons"" for replacement burgers. I told her my family was going to have a hard time eating coupons for dinner, and wanted a complete refund, ""after all, I still had to go find something to take home to them""... She wasn't happy about my request. But pulled the ALREADY COUNTED TILL out of her drawer, and refunded my money. I originally paid $16.78, but she only gave me back $16.00, I guess she felt like being vindictive and made me loose my tax I paid. I won't go there again, I have been a customer there for quited a while, and things have been slowly going downhill over the past year. As I turned to walk away from the window to my car, she didn't have the sliding window all the way shut yet. Sunday Nov. 18th 5:15PM...the neon sign said ""OPEN"".. I ordered TWO burgers one without onions, and said two orders of fries also....My wife leans over to the window, and says add one more order of fries to make it three, and she would also like to have a cheese burger like mine also with onions.....Pretty simple eh? Sounds like THREE BURGERS (one without onions) and THREE FRIES. I just cant figure out where it all went wrong. Did it have something to do with our request to ""DOUBLE WRAP THEM TO KEEP THEM WARM FOR THE RIDE HOME""? Or was it that I ordered TWO burgers and TWO fries, and since the girl saw TWO people her brain shut off anymore incoming data, and MY wife's request for an additional burger and fry was null and void? SEE..THAT IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN PEOPLE MAKE ASSUMPTIONS! She assumed I was ordering for US. COME ON THIS IS NOT ROCKET SCIENCE! \r FACE IT.....IT WAS A MISTAKE TRYING TO GET FOOD FROM DAVE'S BURGERS THAT NIGHT. We DID NOT CHECK OUR SACK OF FOOD BEFORE WE LEFT. GOT ALL THE WAY HOME BEFORE THE DISCOVERY OF NOT ONLY SHORTED A BURGER, THE TWO WE GOT, WERE ALMOST ""BLACK BURNT"" ON THE BOTTOM BUN. The girl wrapped our burgers in FOIL then put them back on the HOT Grill to get them real warm wrapped in the foil. DID NOT CHECK THEM BEFORE SHE PUT THEM INTO THE SACK. \r Just imagine the condition of the lettuce and tomato. So here is the three of us with two burnt offerings...\r Back into the car, and back down to Daves in Lynnwood. Wait a minute! The neon sign is OFF! It is now only 5:45PM...I grab the sack of disgust, and run to their window. I can see the girls in there, but everything is cleaned up. She comes to the window, and I show her the burnt food. She actually tried to blame it on me, because I ""ASKED FOR WRAPPING IN FOIL FOR WARMTH"" I told her the foil didn't do that to it. Not like a typical fast food joint. Food has always been great my family and friends have been eating there for at least 6 yrs. They can be slow so you may not want to go durring lunch. They are cash only. But once you eat the food you will desire to go back. My friends and I joke I have one of those Dave's cravings and well it's only been a week. I reccomend it like I reccomend Ezels for chicken. Pros: great tasting food cooked well. amazing shakes. always fresh Cons: may have to wait, small location so no dining in more

I have run several different fast food restaurants over the course of the last seven years and would never have expected the service I received at this one. Not only was I interrupted each time I tried to ask a question at the speaker but when I decided not to eat there anymore I was boxed in and yelled by both employees on stuff that had nothing to do with why I was leaving. On top of the rudeness by employees it took two workers 25 min to get through 4 cars. I understand it is made to order, but so is burgermaster and I think if a crew of 3 can get through a $300 1/2hour they could get through 4 orders in less than 20 min. It is a one of a kind establishment just north of Seattle in Lynnwood (across the street from Fred Meyer). It is strictly drive-thru with a few picnic tables out front and don't blink or you could drive right by! The portions are big & cooked to order.
