When I was about ten years old, my eldest brother, who was in highschool at the time and familiar with all of the best places to catch a quick bite to eat, suggested to my parents that we go to Dan's Hamburgers. I remember thinking, ""oh gosh, not another greesy hamburger joint."" But to my surprise, Dan's was anything but. Sure it had all of the normal characteristics: a drive through window and three different sizes of hamburgers. But as soon as I had my first Dan's Hamburger, I knew it wouldn't be my last. Between the fresh toasted buns, the burger was juicy, and it tasted as if the meat had been prepared with that little extra something. The french-fries were crisp and light, and the staff friendly and couteous.
Fifteen years later, my family gets together every Saturday to have a burger at Dan's Hamburgers!
