Tap Dancing Dad 11/30/2009

This class is so much fun. Not only is my daughter in this school but my wife and I take in the tap class with several other couples. GREAT FUN!\r \r Tap Dancing Dad Pros: We had one of the owners take over our class. WOW! Cons: Wish I had this teacher sooner. more

Invalid review - really??? 11/20/2009

I am also a mother of girls that were in the picture that was posted at the time of the original post. I find it quite interesting that suddenly the picture has changed!! The orginal post was June took until Nov. 14th to protest it? It has nothing do with too much time on someone has evrything to do with with being a honest and trustworthy business. Richard, you know darn well that the picture has been changed. All anyone has to do is go back in the history of a site to find older pages. \r \r Posted a little later then above...\r Just heard Miss Dana...their anchor has that enough said???? more

Dance!! 11/18/2009

My daughter has been attending for 2 years and I cannot believe how much she has learned here! The instructors are incredible! We love Ms Samantha! And the staff is always so friendly and helpful! The recitals are the best productions I have ever seen and the studio is top notch! I would highly recommend this school!!! Pros: What a great dance school! more

Very Happy 11/18/2009

Have been here two years. Daughter loves it and so do I!! Pros: Great Teachers more

We've been happy 11/17/2009

My daughter is on her third year here. We've been pleased and wow. The first year? We were shocked at the difference in how the recital ran like a well-oiled machine. Three or four recitals in one day and how prompt/on-time and organized everything was. We enjoyed watching every number - not just the two our daughter was in. It was VERY entertaining! These dancers are truly talented!! I feel like we got what we paid for with instruction, although there are studios that may not charge as much for classes, I like the extensive backgrounds the teachers have and I know my daughter has been happy and that she's getting taught proper form. \r One downfall is the recurring registration fee for recurring customers. I don't think if you're a continuing customer you should have to pay that again and again and again. \r Also, this is the only studio that offered poms for the age group we were looking for. That was a huge bonus as well! Pros: Quality instruction Cons: Read review for more detail more

Best Studio Around 11/16/2009

We Are Happy To Be Here 9/1/2009

I have two daughters who have been attending Dance Inc. for the last 4 years. I continue to be amazed at their improvement as dancers. \r \r Dance Inc. has a dedicated and diverse group of instructors who bring innovative choreography to every class. This, combined with solid technique classes, make Dance Inc. a well-balanced studio. \r \r I am also impressed with the creativity that Dance Inc. puts into every production. Their recitals are well organized and completely entertaining. \r \r I know my girls are getting great dance instruction based in solid technique at Dance Inc. They are also having a lot of fun along the way and isn't that the \r way it should be? \r Pros: Innovative Choreography Grounded in Solid Technique more

Excellent Dancing School 8/26/2009

NEW YORK (CNN) --\r \r In August 2008, on Monday, Supreme Court Judge Joan Madden ruled that sites must hand over any identifying information it possesses about the blog's creator.\r \r Once the blog is traced to a name, the next step will be to take the detractor to court for defamation. \r \r In her ruling, the judge quoted a Virginia court that ruled in a similar case that nameless online taunters should be held accountable when their derision crosses a line. \r ""The protection of the right to communicate anonymously must be balanced against the need to assure that those persons who choose to abuse the opportunities presented by this medium can be made to answer for such transgressions,"" the judge said, quoting the Virginia decision.\r \r ""The court recognizes that the Internet is not a place where people can freely defame people or their businesses. Disguised in comforting anonymity, bloggers and online commenters can type some pretty nasty things – accusations and language that they’d never say to people face-to-face. However, the masquerade ball has just ended."" \r \r Bloggers should watch out. The court just rewrote the assumed rules for online decency.\r Pros: Everything more

Picture of MPA over 5years old 6/18/2009

The picture of the MPA dancers that is suppose to be showing the group of dancers in NOT their non-profit company as it exists today. The picture is approximately 5 years old and a lot, if not half the girls shown, no longer dance at this studio. I know my daughter is one of them. Why is it not a RECENT picture of their non-profit MPA dancers? Not enough dancers to look like a dance company? I believe the pictures should be removed for 3 reasons.....\r 1 - over 5 years old\r 2- many in picture are not current members of the company\r 3- when the picture was taken over 5 years ago the parents of the dancers never gave permission for it to be used for a non-profit dance company, nor to be used falsely! Cons: too much to list more

Should never have switched 5/29/2008

Our family switched to this studio this past year. We will not be returning! Their fees for customes, recital, and classes are higher then what we use to pay, by a lot. For the extra money I have not seen an increase in my daughters abilility. We had practice for recital and it was a mess. Very unorganized. A studio that has been around as long as they have should be able to run a organized and timely rehearshal. We are looking for another alternative for Fall. more

Great Studio 2/19/2008

We love this studio. We think someone is VERY JEALOUS!!! The instructions are great and the staff is very friendly . If someone is unhappy why not discuss it with the ""owners"" instead of being vinditive? This school does not have it's extremely large enrollment because they do everything wrong. Does that make sense? Their recitals are fabulous. I am a Father of three daughters in this school. It is rare for us Dad's to look forward to seeing the rest of the dancers and not just their own children perform. Pros: My daughters love going to dance class at this studio Cons: We haven't experienced any. more

Leaving after this year 2/9/2008

Came across this site looking for a new studio to move to for the 2008 - 2009 dance year. My daughters have danced at this studio for quite a few years. We can no longer put up with the politics and negativity that area also in the enviroment. The owners have A LOT of issues that they need to deal with. more

Incorrect Information 12/5/2007

Try 119 classes a week not 250 and the floors are not premium dance floors. When the studio opened with the floors the teachers complained that they were not good dance floors, especially for tap. If people are going to post information it really should be accurate. Just because someone says the floors are ""fake wood"" does not mean that the floors were installed poorly. Lighten up! more

Highly Impressed! 11/13/2007

We did our research, and Dance Incorporated is by far the most professionally run studio in St. Louis. Their teachers have incredible professional backgrounds. They include choreographers for the prestigious Boston Ballet Co., American Festival Ballet Co., and the Nevada Dance Theatre. Their instructors have also been perennial performers on Broadway, elite NFL cheerleaders, and former nationally ranked gymnasts. \r \r I?ve come to learn Dance Incorporated has been a successful studio for over 40 years and found their long standing reputation was unmatched by any other school around. For a number of years now, they have exceeded all of our expectations! Pros: Highly qualified instructors. State of the art facilities. Great location. Friendly office staff. more

Three Unbelieveable New Instructors 10/2/2007

The studio replaced several teachers last season and added three more this year. You must experience their classes to know what you have been missing. All I can say is AMAZING!!!!!! Pros: WOW! BEST TEACHERS I HAVE EVER TAKEN FROM Cons: There aren't any more

Great instructors 9/21/2007

I was a little shocked reading some of the other reviews. Obviously, there are some people with an axe to grind. I don't know about all of the politics with the owner of the studio, but I can comment on the instructors. I know several of them and know that they have an extensive background in dance. Many have danced professionally and have taught at several other reputable dance schools.\r \r I have been to several Dance Inc. recitals and have seen the relationships between the students and their instructors. It is obvious that the instructors care about their students even beyond the studio.\r \r In addition, many of the numbers choreographed by the teachers consistently win choreography awards at competitions. This would not happen with untrained instructors.\r \r It is unfortunate that some feel the need to slander the instructors to carry out their personal agenda against the studio owner, but if you want your kids to have quality instructors that care about them, then you will find them at Dance Inc. Pros: location, instructors more
