As a social worker, I have learned about human behavior and pathologies, however something seemed to be missing during the traditional therapeutic interventions of talking things through. I found what it was, through learning to connect with my physical body and my energy body through stretching, breathing, and meditation. Most of us live our lives in the past or future, and miss out on the healing that could take place if we stick to the present moment. At this center, I have learned how to feel my physical body and be present in the moment... with that, I have learned to still my mind from constant thinking and stress.
