Great hilarity 8/21/2010

I gotta say that this place kinda surprised me. I was invited by a friend to see a show here and really didn't expect much. But boy was I wrong! The show was awesome - I had a really good time. It's a casual place - not stuffy at all, and there's a cool rapport between audience & actors on stage; really neat. more

Poker Night at the White House 2/10/2008

My friends and I went to Dad's Garage for my b'day after hearing such great things about it. The show was Poker Night at the White House and we figured it would have to be funny since this is a comedy club. It was horrible. If there was an intermission we would have left. We did not understand the humor in it whatsoever. It made little sense and just wasn't funny. Do not waste your $20. Go have a drink instead. more

A healthy addiction. 6/26/2007

Hmm, Where do I begin? I first attended a show at Dad's in mid-2005. I've been there every week ever since. In addition to the quality shows and pure genius improv, the casual, comfortable atmosphere makes you feel right at home from the moment you step through the door. The people there are amazing -- both on and off-stage. The humor is creative and intelligent, with just the right amount of quirk. It's always a great time. There's nowhere else quite like it. Just be warned that you'll feel a strange gravitation to return as soon as possible. Pros: Price, People, High quality entertainment. Cons: Just don't leave valuables in your car. more

good ice breaker 10/22/2005

Sometimes the shows can be hit or miss, but I've still always enjoyed them. When I have a group of friends out for a night on the town, and none of them know each other, I start with Dad's Garage . . all the fun & laughter is a good icebreaker :-) I went last night & the price has gone up a little, that's a bummer, but if you have an Entertainment guide coupon book, you can find a buy one get one free coupon which will save you $15. Pros: funny & fun Cons: cost more

Dad's Garage is a hit! 8/18/2005

The theatre itself is kind of run down and it serves cheap beer but the actors are hilarious and the audience participation is really funny. I definitely recommend it to anyone that loves improv. It's def a first date place as well!! Pros: funny actors, casual Cons: kinda shabby more

This place is great for a date or just an enjoyable relaxing evening. The shows are always at least moderately humorous and the audience interaction keep you on your toes. The staff and performers are very gracious. Pros: fun, light hearted more
