We met the owners of this company at the Austin Home Show, and really liked the examples of their work... very creative, unique installations, etc... so we signed on to have them remodel our pool which was in pretty rough shape when we bought our home. Everything started great, and they gave us some great ideas for features, many of which we went with... but it went downhill rapidly! The concrete was a disaster... had to be torn up and redone TWICE, and is already cracking! The wall added to provide privacy and architectural interest was not remotely straight, TWICE! Tile is falling off after only a few years and we've already had to replace parts of our pumps and chlorine systems. \r
After the concrete issues, we were put on the low end of the priority list apparently... work stopped, scheduled meetings were ignored, what was supposed to be a 3 month task stretched into 6 months of taking time off work to meet with the company, only to have them not show AND not return calls. When the concrete was chiseled up the final time, we suggested they put the pool light in before it was re-poured, but were ignored... only to have the light not work, requiring a section of the deck to be cut out to enable repair. Now there's an UGLY patch job instead of a smooth deck.\r
Finally, to add insult to injury, after leaving the job unfinished and the site a mess, they called to tell us THEY WERE TAKING US TO COLLECTIONS!!!\r
If you have money to waste, and don't care about quality work, by all means go with Da Vida... otherwise, stay clear...
Pros: great design ideas
Cons: high priced, low quality, BAD customer service, questionable hiring practices
