Worst

DC Coast is an old favorite of mine, and there's no better bar for a cocktail, aesthetically and service-wise. There are still wonderful menu offerings - but they are hit and miss...

DC Coast Restaurant 1/8/2007

This is one of the best restaurants in DC. The place looks wonderful inside. Make sure you call ahead before coming in because this place gets busy. The service here is great and the food is even better. I usually sample the fish when I come here. It is always perfectly prepared. more

Good food, bad service 4/10/2006

DC coast is a favorite of many locals for seafood. I’ve been here a couple times. My meals have always tasted great. But both times I’ve been here the service has stunk. It just took a very long time to get our order place and getting a refill on drinks was nearly impossible. more

D C Coast Restaurant 3/30/2006

One of the better places in DC to get seafood is right at this restaurant. All dishes are prepared perfectly. I love their salmon. It is always so moist and the cut of salmon is high quality. The waiting staff can sometimes be a little sluggish checking on the tables but that is my only complaint. more

One of the best restaurants in DC 8/11/2005

DC Coast is a great place to eat. The food is wonderful and the presentation is so creative. They serve a variety of upscale fancy dishes. It is a great place for a business dinner, to eat and drink with friends, or for a romantic date. The service is top notch and the bar is a fun place to hang out as well. It is easily accessible by metro and there is also street parking and valet available. more

Lively Ambiance and Delicious Food 8/5/2005

This old bank building converted to a restaurant has a great atmosphere and delicious food. The ceilings and columns tower over you and it can get quite loud, but lively. I remember the food being some of the best, but portion sizes, not exactly huge ... but then again, you're not going to Bennigans. more

Les poissons, les poissons...how I love les poissons! 6/27/2005

God, I love little fishes, don't you? The people at DC Coast certainly do, and, mon dieu, do they know how to cook them! This is the flagship restaurant for the people who branched out into TenPenh and Ceiba - and their food is just as good here as it is at the others. The rockfish on the polenta cake is fabulous, as are the soups. For dessert I'd recommend anything with chocolate and hazelnuts...what I had wasn't on the regular dessert menu, but it melted in my mouth. more

Seafood Heaven! 6/26/2005

This place is unbelievablely good. From the ambiance to the menu, you will be in for a treat! You can start with a delicious oyster appetizer, rock fish plate for dinner & a sinful creme brulee for dessert. This a perfect place for romntic evening. You will not be disappointed. more
