DSW Shoes - Los Angeles

This place has a wide selection, however customer service is ATROCIOUS. I was just there to make a simple exchange and basically to make a long story short, I was treated very rudely. A sales girl helped me and she had an accomplice in making my visit that much more unpleasant by double teaming me on refuting my reason for EXCHANGING my shoe. Sooo, buyer beware, all sales are final (i am assuming since these girls make it exceptionally dificult to make a simple exchange) and you get rude delivery of the store policies while they are at it. DO NOT GO unless you want to feel worse than you did when you came in. Hey, but some may feel that the discount may be worth it.....but I definately cannot take that kind of treatment. This DSW recently opened (Fall 2006) and is large, spacious, and very neat. The rows seem endless, and they have many different styles and brands to choose from. I have never seen it crowded, so it makes for a mellow and unstressful shopping experience. The shoes are usually discounted off the original price, but not always by that much: do not come here looking for $20 brand-name shoes. Still, it's worth checking out for deals before heading to a department store and paying full price. DSW also has a large clearance section, but most of the shoes in it are out-of-style and out-of-season - there's a reason they are on clearance.
