Nice Guy 7/5/2008

Today (Saturday) I needed an inspection for my bike. I called and was told to get there in 45 minutes and I could get it before they close. Well over 1 hour later I get there and the gates are down. I called to get the next available hours and was told to come back Tuesday, but when I said I was outside the owner said he would take me. How Nice was that. Here he was already closed for a while and came out anyway....NOW THAT IS GOOD SERVICE AND A NICE GUY!\r \r THANK YOU.\r D & M Cycle Specialties Incorporated Pros: You an tell this guy knows His bikes just by looking at him more

keeps me on the road 1/22/2006

Hey, Old Dom has kept me on the road for almost twenty years now. I only go to D&M I have a new Susuki and I am having Dom powder coat my Rims and doing up the engine. This place is probally the best kept secret in NYC. This guy is an Ace machanic. If you ride you definetly need a place like D&M to go to. No frills just good work. Pros: Reliable, Fun, Service more

Local QueensWest Cycle Shop 12/14/2005

The owner is pretty gruff, and he won't win any beaty contests either. If you leave your key in the door before he opens in the morning and don't include a phone number he's libel to tell you you'll need a new engine and let you stew on that for a minute or 2 before he tells a new set of spark plugs will do. He does good work though, has reasonable (for NYC) prices, and seems honest which is about all you can ask for. He also will work on my old pre-1990 Honda which is a lot more than I can say for that lame Honda dealership in Astoria. Also, well located -- just of the Queens Blvd exit on the BQE. Pros: Expertise, Price Cons: Bedside Manor more
