My friend and I got pulled over, and he had been drinking and I hadn't. He was driving, though, so we both got taken in and his car was towed. I had my wallet, my car keys, and my cell phone in his car. The next morning, as soon as I woke up, I called D & L and they were rude, uncooperative, and wouldn't let me ge my things out of my car! I as livid considerin I did no illegal act, whatsoever, it wasn't my car, and they were my things! Unbelievable. The officer the previous night had even told me, "Just go to D & L Rideout tomorrow morning and they will give you your things." I felt it was extremely unfair. If I had been involved with anything that happened the night before, it would have been one thing, but the fact that I did nothing wrong and an officer personally told me that I could get my things the next morning made me so angry. I absolutely wouldn't use D & L for my own personal car problems, and wouldn't recommend it to anyone, either!
