Excellent Service 2/21/2011

D&E was recommended to me by a good friend. Had my Acura RL timing belt replaced first, with a couple of little things needing repair as well. Service was excellent, as was communication. Experienced some shuddering and they took care of that the next working day as they knew exactly what the problem was. Just had my starter replaced and service was again excellent and done in the time frame I was promised. I should mention that I was given a quote by another repair shop that was $50 lower just to get me in their door. I turned them down because I believe D&E knows my Acura and I trust them. more

Excellent shop 2/16/2009

I've been taking my Honda Accord to D&E since first purchased in 2000. This shop is very accommodating and professional. I've always felt as if I've been given a straight answer, prompt service and fair price. They are very good with Hondas; although I cannot speak to any other make/model. I once had a problem that required my car to stay there over 2 weeks so they could troubleshoot and try different things. In the end, they only charged me for the repairs, none of the troubleshooting. As long as I own a Honda, this is the only shop I'll use. more

Excellence in Honda Repair 8/5/2007

The prices are reasonable and the service is excellent. They watch out for future problems and take the time to explain things in plain language. I have been going there for over 3 years with two seperate cars. Also if you are thinking of buying a used Honda, you would be stupid not to get them to look it over for you. Pros: On time with service, great work Cons: Cheaper than the dealer but not rock bottom cheap but quality work more

Great customer service and quality work 8/24/2006

Got a very decent price for a timing belt change on my Honda Accord recently. Had several questions about services my manual recommended-- they easily could have "raped" me and done them, but scrupulously advised me what was/wasn't needed. There were other necessary services I HAD done in the past year (they weren't aware of), and they helped me to make sure I knew that these were in fact, vital services. There was a mishap that caused damage to my engine mounts, when the timing belt was replaced, but they fully investigated it, and assured my husband and I, it was caused by everything being moved in order to change the timing belt-- aka-- it probably would have happened regardless of who or where the timing belt change was done. They came thru and paid for half the labor to get it all fixed-- it saved me close to $100 off that repair alone. My husband is a tough nut, who knows a decent amount about cars, and even he was convinced it was the car itself, and not the service shop's fault. So, although there was a "glitch", they stepped up to the plate. They are members of the Better Business (fill in last word-- the site won't let me put in full 3 words), and have no complaints. I will definitely use them again. Their customer service was excellent. Pros: customer service, decent prices Cons: none more
